Commercial Vehicle Parking Permit Application

City of Combine Code of Ordinances $70.01 allows for issuance of a parking permit, for a single commercial vehicle, as defined by the chapter. Parking permits are specific to the vehicle to which they are issued and are not transferable between vehicles.

The police chief may approve a permit with, or without, conditions to protect the public health, safety, and welfare. A permit shall be valid for twelve (12) months from the issuance date. An issued permit is not transferrable to another person and does not run with the land.

If the police chief denies an application for a permit, then the police chief shall notify the applicant by certified mail. Not later than the 10th day after the applicant receives notice of the denial of the permit application, the person may file a written notice of appeal with the city manager, including the reason for appeal. The city manager shall either uphold or deny the appeal. The decision of the city manager is final.
