Please read and agree to the following: A home check/Inspection is required to adopt. A fenced yard is required to adopt. Without this we cannot proceed with the application process. We are under no obligation to contact you if you do not agree or meet these requirements.

We ask that you follow up with us once this application is submitted. You can do so by emailing rescuetothemax@yahoo.com or sending a message to our Facebook page. It is your responsibility to reach out to the rescue to establish a clear line of communication. Upon submitting this application we require you to send pictures of your yard. We need current (taken at the time of the application) pictures of the entire perimeter and once of each gate. This appication will not be processed until you have done this.

Thanks so much for the information you have provided so far. Below we have the adoption contract. This contract states terms of the adoption. We know it's a lot to read but please take the time to do so and agree to the terms.
Adoption contract/agreement:
1. An adoption fee is required for the pet to help defray the cost of veterinary care, housing cost, and food expenses. The ADOPTEE has a limited budget and the adoption fee I not refundable under any circumstances
2.The ADOPTEE is making no representations or warranties about the condition, personality, or temperament of the pet. This pet if being sold for domestic Purposes only. ADOPTER understands that this pet was previously unwanted or lost and may have been rescued from a dangerous, unhealthy and/or cruel situations. It is possible that this may have long-lasting effects on the pet and may make the pet unpredictable under certain conditions
3.The ADOPTEE is making no representations or warranties about the condition, personality, or temperament of the pet. This pet if being sold for domestic Purposes only. ADOPTER understands that this pet was previously unwanted or lost and may have been rescued from a dangerous, unhealth and/or cruel situations. It is possible that this may have long-lasting effects on the pet and may make the pet unpredictable under certain conditions.
4.ADOPTER agrees to have the pet examined by a licensed veterinarian with 7days of adoption and not less than a year thereafter. In case of illness or injury, ADOPTER agree to seek prompt veterinary care. ADOPTER agree to keep all required vaccinations current, including but not limited to, Rabies &Distemper, and the ensure that the pet receives preventative medicine to protect against heartworm. ADOPTER consents to the ADOPTEE inquiring with ADOPTER’S veterinarian about the pet after the adoption, and to looking over the ADOPTER’S property where pet is regularly house at a mutually convenient time.
5. ADOPTER agrees not to abandon, give away, sell, or dispose of the pet in any way, and the ADOPTEE shall be notified in any or such time ad ADOPTER determined that he/she is no longer able or desires to keep and care for the per s that the ADOPTEE can re-claim the pet and arrange for another adoption. ADOPTER agrees that he/she may never surrender the et tp an animal shelter, which engages in the practice of euthanizing surplus pets. ADOPTER agrees never to euthanize the pet except in the case of the pet’s terminal illness or injury, or old age accompanied by pain and suffering, and in that case, the euthanasia must be performed by a licensed veterinarian in a private clinic or hospital.
6. ADOPTER agrees to use his/her best efforts possible to find the pet if it becomes lost, by immediately: A.Filing lost reports with the local police, animal control authorities, animal shelters, and local veterinarians. B. Post lot pet signs C. Contacting the ADOPTEE for additional service or assistance.
7. In the event that the ADOPTER does not comply with the terms of this Agreement, or the pet is abused or neglected, the ADOPTEE reserved the right to recover the pet from the ADOPTER upon demand. Promptly after the demand. Official personnel will come to the ADOPTER’S residence and ADOPTER with immediately surrender the pet.
8. Neither RESCUSE TO THE MAX, its volunteers or its officers are liable for any claims, legal actions, losses, injuries, damages, cost, expenses, or liabilities whatsoever in connection with this adoption or ownership of this pet.
9. This Agreement is the entire agreement between ADOPTER and RESCUE TO THE MAX, and supersedes any prior understandings between ADOPTER and RESCUE TO THE MAX with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement. No modifications of this Agreement will be valid unless in writing duly signed b both ADOPTER and RESCUE TO THE MAX. This Agreement is binding upon ADOPTER and ADOPTER’s heirs, assigns, successors, personal representatives and executors
