  • Membership fees

    Single membership - Joining fee: $90
    Single membership is for one handler only with one or more dogs.

    Family membership - Joining fee: $120
    A family membership is for two or more handlers* with one or more dogs.

    * children must be over 10 years old to be a handler. Handlers under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.

     

    Single renewal - Annual fee: $60
    Family renewal - Annual fee: $90
    Renewals are due 12 months after joining and will be sent as an invoice by email.

  • ESODC Club rules

    1. Your dog is to be kept on leash at all times. The only exception is when given explicit instruction to work off lead in class.
    2. Handlers wishing to leave their dogs tethered on Club grounds should only do so if their dogs are safe with people, especially around children. No dog may be tethered where it can reach another dog.
    3. Dogs must be fully immunised before coming to classes which needs to be renewed annually.
    4. Any sick dog, or one suffering from a communicative illness, are not to come to class until Vet cleared.
    5. Handlers are responsible for removal of their dog's excreta from the training area.
    6. We teach rewards-based training. Physical and excessive verbal abuse of dogs is not allowed. Any observed behaviour of this type will lead to expulsion from the club.
    7. Instructors have authority over their classes and may ask a member to take their dog out of class if it is overly distruptive.
    8. While at the grounds, before and after classes, please remain in control of your dog/s, and respect the space of other dogs and handlers.
    9. Dogs in season should not attend training for four weeks. However, this does not mean you should stop attending classes or cease the training of your dog.
    10. If an Instructor considers your dog to be aggressive, the Chief Instructor will evaluate your dog as to its suitability to be trained at ESODC. If required, the dog may be asked to wear a muzzle while at training or a private professional instruction/organisation may be recommended. Remember, we are a Community Dog Club we do not offer specialised behavioural modification training.

  • The Eastern Suburbs Obedience Dog Club (ESODC) is an Incorporated Association. By joining ESODC, you agree that we may collect and store your personal information (including name, contact details and membership details) to manage your membership, communicate club updates and facilitate club activities. We will treat your information with confidentiality and only use it for purposes directly related to your membership. We will not share your personal information with any third party without your consent, except where required by law. We will take reasonable measures to protect your data and you can access and update your information by contacting the club.

  • Membership fee payment

  • Membership fees must be paid in full prior to commencing classes. Your membership is not valid until payment is received. Membership fees include 12 months of membership with ESODC and insurance for non-Dogs Victoria members.

    Payment can be made in cash at the club or by direct deposit.

     

    Bank account details provided in email confirmation when you submit this form.

    Please include your full name and dogs name as the reference for direct deposits.

    If you prefer to pay in cash, please drop us an email to advise so we can include you on placement confirmation emails.

  • Once you submit your membership form, we will contact you by email (Handler #1 email address) to acknowledge receipt of payment and confirm your start date and time.
