2025 Canada Youth Visual Art Contest Registration Form
The 2025 Canada Youth Visual Art Contest (CYVAC) is hosted by Youth Initiative Vancouver (YIV), and co-organized by Academy of Modern Art (AOMA). The contest aims to encourage multicultural communication and philanthropic endeavours and to discover outstanding artistic and design talents around the world.

The future refers to the time from now; it can be tomorrow, next year, the next second, or the next century. The future is vision, imagination, and a mysterious world. Be creative and use art to depict your future self or the future world!

The deadline to submit all artworks is April 30th, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST.
Terms and Conditions
1. When uploading images of your artwork, the file size should be at least 1MB, and the artwork should be clearly photographed, show the entire piece, and should not include extra space or objects around its edges. Failure to meet the requirements will render the artwork invalid.

2. Participants agree that the 2025 Canada Youth Visual Art Contest hosts—Youth Initiative Vancouver and the Academy of Modern Art—shall have the right to publish, exhibit and publicize all entries. Entering this contest constitutes an agreement to this and all clauses.

3. The entry must fit the theme and be original. Applicants may not forge, plagiarize, or violate copyright laws in the creation of their artwork, otherwise, the entries will automatically be disqualified.

4. All participants are permitted to submit one artwork only.

5. Entry fee: 50 CAD

2025 CYVAC Charity Auction and Art Exhibition
This year, CYVAC is partnering with UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) to make equitable childcare and breakthrough treatments accessible for any children in need. Artists who agree to donate their artwork will receive a certificate of recognition from the CYVAC Committee and UNICEF. Participants are welcome to purchase their own submissions along with other entries at the auction.

By agreeing to donate your artwork to the 2025 CYVAC Charity Auction and Art Exhibition, you consent to the following terms and conditions:
- I acknowledge that the CYVAC committee reserves the right to publish, exhibit, auction, and publicize my work and information should I enter the Charity Auction and Art Exhibition
- I agree to mail my artwork to 2408 W 41st Ave, Vancouver, BC V6M 2A7 before April 30, 2025 (deadline of 2025 artwork submission) and I recognize that my artwork will not be returned
- I agree that proceeds obtained from the charity auction are to be used solely as charity donation
The CYVAC Committee highly encourages all artists to participate in the charity auction in which the donation funds will support the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. By donating your artwork, you contribute to a fundraiser that ensures that UNICEF can deliver the society's best, most specialized care for children. In addition, your work may also be selected for the award ceremony exhibition or with other exhibition opportunities for free.
