Accord Chamber Workshop Registration 2025
  • Accord Chamber Workshop Registration 2025

Welcome to the registration site for the Accord Chamber Music Workshop. THE WORKSHOP IS NOW QUITE FULL for violins. We may be able to accommodate a few additional students - and cellists and violists are still very in demand - but it very much depends on their age and level, as the chamber groups have already been set. Please write to annethomasviolin@gmail.com to enquire before registering. (Registrations from pre-existing chamber groups who wish coaching on repertoire they are already preparing are very welcome.) The Accord Workshop is a one-day workshop to be held Sunday 27 April 2025 at Harris Academy in St John's Wood, London. It provides chamber music coaching and performance opportunities to strings and piano students who have begun to read music. We'll set your young musicians into trios, quartets, quintets (or other) and send you the music beforehand, so that they can practise, get support from their teacher and be ready on the day.

  • For chamber ensemble and chamber orchestra participation, some music reading is necessary. We will send music to be learned for chamber ensembles and orchestra ahead of time, so that it may be learned and practiced in advance with the support of your teacher. Suzuki violinists who have just begun or are yet to begin their journey in reading music will take part in a Suzuki violin group lesson tailored to their level along with all the other activities.
