    • Scholarships are open to candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for certification set forth by the American Board of Wound Management. Eligibility criteria are available here. 
    • Scholarships are available to first-time candidates.
    • Scholarships are not available for retesting, rescheduling, or recertifying candidates.

    Applicable Rules, Laws, and Regulations:

    In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, the ABWM Foundation scholarship does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, or national origin.

    The ABWM Foundation scholarship is a qualified scholarship, as the amount received will be used for the qualified exam expenses only. This is not considered taxable income.

    2. Explain, in your own words, how you demonstrate financial need.
    3. Discuss your long-term career goals and aspirations, particularly in relation to wound care.
    4. Highlight any volunteer work, personal qualities, or unique experiences that make you an outstanding candidate for scholarship consideration.
