PROSPECTUS
"Inner Horizons" is a Juried art show to be held at Ardest Gallery in The Woodlands, Texas, just North of Houston between April 2nd and April 26th. The Deadline to apply is Friday, March 7th by 11:59 p.m.
We all carry landscapes within us—internal worlds shaped by memory, emotion, and imagination. For this Open Call, we invite artists to explore and express their personal landscapes. Whether rooted in vivid dreams, quiet moments of reflection, or the profound depths of your inner world, this is an opportunity to bring your unique internal geography to life. Show us the terrains, textures, and spaces that define your inner self.
All mediums are eligible for submission; 2D and 3D art welcome.
The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, April 5th from 5-8 p.m. with a presentation by the Juror at 7 p.m.
GUEST JUROR - HEATHER BRAMAN
Born in New Mexico and raised in Texas, Heather Braman discovered her passion for painting at the age of 29—a transformative moment that reshaped her life and ignited her dedication to artistic expression and community building. Heather holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her work has been shown extensively in juried exhibitions, earning awards and inclusion in private and permanent collections.
As an artist, Heather explores themes of memory, inner landscapes, and the deep connections of the heart. Her paintings often serve as visual meditations, inviting viewers to traverse personal and emotional terrains through texture, color, and layered imagery. She is particularly inspired by the interplay between the seen and unseen, using her work to bridge the tangible and the spiritual.
In her role as the Art Gallery Coordinator for Bosque Gallery since 2019, Heather has championed the professional development of student artists, fostering a space for growth, collaboration, and creative exploration. She has curated numerous exhibitions, both for students and professional artists, while establishing the gallery's online presence to further expand its reach and impact.
