Best Book in Utah History
For the best book on Utah history published during 2024. This award is funded by the Smith-Pettit Foundation. The award winner and one finalist are selected by a committee appointed by the Historical Society Director.

Submission Guidelines

Book must have been published in 2024.

Four copies of a nominated book must be sent to:

Book Awards Committee

The winner and one finalist will receive a monetary award and will be honored by Utah Historical Society and the Board of State History at a reception in January 2026.

Nominations will be accepted until March 15, 2025.
