Santa Cruz County artists are invited to apply to exhibit in the Santa Cruz County Government Building (701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz) during the 2025 Exhibit Year. Artwork will be displayed on the walls and in glass cases on the 1st and 5th floors.

Eligibility/Guidelines:

• Must be a resident of Santa Cruz County
• Cannot have participated in the 2024 exhibits at the County Government Center
• All submitted work samples must have been created in the last three years and be representative of the style and content that you plan to exhibit.
• All work should be appropriate to a public office building - religious or political subjects, nudity, and violence are not acceptable.

Application Process:

Entries will be accepted electronically only and must be received by Sunday, March 2, 2025 at midnight.

Screening:

Applications will be reviewed and notifications of acceptance or non-acceptance will be emailed by March 17.

* Artists’ submissions may also be considered for public facilities other than the County Government Center, including County Health Services, Simpkins Family Swim Center and the South County Government Center in Watsonville. These facilities may choose to contact the artists with an offer of exhibit space at these locations.
