Adult Team 2025 Registration

Welcome back to the boathouse!

BIR is excited to welcome returning rowers and recent Learn to Row grads alike to a fresh Spring season on the water. Many of you have been hard at work behind the scenes prepping the boathouse, tending to equipment maintenance, planning for the new racing year, moving shells and launches, taking CPR classes, and studying up on coaching resources. Many of you have also been erging and weightlifting and are eager to get your fitness out on the water. THANK YOU for all your hard work through the off-season!

Now comes the easy part. Here is an overview of the Adult registration process:

1. Complete the Jotform (You are here!)
2. Once your Jotform has been submitted, you will be added to the Adult Rowing Members 2025 iCrew team. You will receive a message from iCrew welcoming you, and dues and required documents to row will be applied to your account. All Adult members will be placed on this team for administrative purposes.
3. Once your dues have been paid and your required documents are complete, you will be added to the Adult Open 2025 team.

Annual Rowing Fee $1,468 includes winter conditioning
Seasonal Rowing Fee $879 Feb - June / July - Nov
Rowing Punchcard $253 10 rows
Winter Conditioning Fee $310 Nov - Feb, unlimited
Winter Fitness Punchcard $116 10 sessions

Regatta Fees

If you elect to participate in any regatta, scrimmage, or other rowing event outside of the regular BIR schedule, know that those fees are separate from your regular rowing fees. The cost to compete in these events will be communicated in a timely fashion in the interim leading up to their registration windows to allow rowers to make informed decisions about their participation.

iCrew Profile:

Please review your iCrew profile for any missing or outdated information, especially the following fields: 

• Email
• Cell phone
• Emergency contact name and phone
• Update medical conditions
• Birthday
• USRowing #

Required Documents:

Check your iCrew documents. You can also find these documents listed under your "To Do List." Make sure they are complete and all waivers have been signed. 

• BIR Waiver: sign electronically in iCrew
• US Rowing Membership and USRowing Waiver: All adult rowers must be registered with USRowing for insurance purposes. You will need a USRowing Member # and expiration date to complete this registration.

Use club code: KRCBC (case-sensitive) to be added to the BIR roster

• BIR Float Test: Check your iCrew documents to make sure your Float Test is on file. We will accept float tests from another rowing club within the last 10 years. We will also accept a Lifeguard or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) card, a current PADI or similar diving certificate. If you have a float certificate, please upload it to your iCrew documents. 

If you need to take a Float Test for the first time or if yours is expiring (they are good for 10 years), BIR will be offering float tests on the first evening of each Learn to Row session. If you would like to row before a float test is offered, you can contact the Aquatic Center and take their standard swim test in the interim and then take the first available float test offered by BIR. 

A few things to note:

• When you upload a document, iCrew will still say "not on file" because this is a manual process that is updated by the club admin. This may take a few days, so be sure to check back.

• USRowing membership, waiver and SafeSport will be updated weekly by our admin. There is no need to upload any documents. Once a week BIR completes an import of our USRowing roster, which includes your membership, signed waiver and completed SafeSport. This is synched in iCrew. If you feel like you have completed these and they are not showing up in iCrew, please reach out to admin@bainbridgerowing.org and we will investigate. 

SafeSport Training

All Adult rowers are required to take the 90-min SafeSport Trained Core course. A 30-min "Refreshers" course is required in subsequent years to stay current. All Adult team members should self-attest "yes" they have interaction with Juniors (under 18 years). 

To access the course, open your USRowing profile and click on the SafeSport icon on the lower left and allow a few minutes for it to load. Locate the "Core" course. Once you have completed the Core course, log back into USRowing to refresh your profile. Once the course shows up on your USRowing profile it will get synched to iCrew.

BIR is a mostly volunteer-run organization with deep roots in the charitable giving of our time. In order to keep our organization and all the moving pieces in our boathouse moving forward, there is an expectation that each member contributes a minimum of 20 volunteer hours per year.
