• Healthcare Ad Tracker Survey

  • In late 2023, I wrote this article about the current state of ad trackers in healthcare online marketing. HHS/OIG Guidance had recently come out and all healthcare marketers were looking at each other to know what to do.

    I'm writing an updated piece for 2025, and I want to base it off of the actual behaviors of healthcare marketers in 2025. Everyone wants to know what their peers are doing, especially in a topic with uncertainty and risk. Using this survey, I'll collect what trackers and technologies marketers are using and will share aggregated data back to the community.

    You can share any responses anonymously. If you want to share your company name and/or email, that is helpful, but not required. It would allow me reach out to you with further questions.

    All data collected from this survey will be reported in aggregate with no means to identify individual responses.

  • Many telehealth providers specialize in treatment for a specific condition or small set of conditions where using this provider would imply a diagnosis or treatment. Examples would be: “PCOS treatment online”, “Online alcohol counseling”.

    Rules for condition specific providers are often seen as different than more generic providers.
