Coast Guard Foundation + Chief Petty Officers Association
  • The Coast Guard Foundation and Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association work together to provide disaster relief assistance to Coast Guard members who have been impacted by natural disasters.

When natural disasters strike, the Coast Guard Foundation and the Chief Petty Officers Association are here for you.  Coast Guard members are often first responders—leaving their own impacted homes and property to aid others. We assess member and family needs through our disaster relief and response program and make sure you get resources to bounce back from hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, and more.

Coast Guard members are eligible for a grant up to $3,000 to cover personal loss and basic needs after a storm strikes.  These needs include, home repair, replacement and repair of household goods, food and basic necessities, insurance deductibles, temporary housing, and emergency travel.

You may complete the application online here. It will be reviewed by CGF and CPOA and they may contact you for more information and further documentation may be requested before approval.

Your application will be reviewed within five days of receipt.  You may email swilliams@coastguardfoundation.org or call 860-535-0786 with any questions.
