By submitting this order, you, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of advertising space on coasters, bar runners and/or related promotional products from Local Coasters ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Orders and Agreement
1.1 By submitting an order form, accepting a quote, paying a deposit or making any payment, the Customer enters into a binding agreement with Local Coasters to produce and/or arrange the Customer’s selected advertising package, including coasters, bar runners and/or related promotional products, as specified in the order.
1.2 The advertising products will feature the Customer’s branding, artwork, QR code, message and/or advertising design and will be supplied for use at the specified club, pub, hotel or other venue ("Designated Venue"), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.3 The Customer acknowledges that these Terms form part of the agreement and override any conflicting terms proposed by the Customer unless expressly agreed upon in writing by Local Coasters.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 50% deposit is required at the time of order placement to secure the Customer’s advertising position, category placement and commencement of artwork, QR code setup, administration and campaign scheduling.
2.2 The remaining 50% balance is due once the artwork proof has been approved by the Customer and before printing, production or final supply commences. The balance is usually payable within fourteen (14) days of the deposit payment, but in all cases must be paid prior to printing or production.
2.3 Local Coasters will not proceed to print, production or final supply until full payment has been received and cleared.
2.4 Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer or any other payment method nominated by Local Coasters. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in delayed production, loss of scheduled venue placement or cancellation of the order in accordance with these Terms.
2.5 All prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated.
3. Category Placement and Exclusivity
3.1 Where Local Coasters offers category exclusivity, the Customer’s selected business category or specialty will be reserved for the Designated Venue campaign once the required deposit or payment has been received.
3.2 Category exclusivity is limited to the specific campaign, product type, Designated Venue and campaign period stated in the order or quote.
3.3 Local Coasters will make reasonable efforts to avoid placing a directly competing business in the same category within the same venue campaign once the Customer’s placement has been secured.
3.4 Local Coasters has discretion to determine business categories and whether another business is considered a direct competitor for the purpose of category exclusivity.
4. Artwork, QR Code and Approval
4.1 The Customer is responsible for providing correct business details, logos, branding materials, offer details, website links, social media links and any other content required for artwork and QR code setup.
4.2 Local Coasters may prepare or arrange artwork and QR code setup using information supplied by the Customer.
4.3 Local Coasters will provide a digital proof of the design for the Customer’s approval before proceeding with printing. The Customer is responsible for carefully checking all details, including business name, phone number, website, social media links, QR code destination, spelling, layout, offers, disclaimers and any other information shown on the proof.
4.4 Once the Customer approves the artwork proof, no further changes can be guaranteed. Any changes requested after approval may incur additional fees and may delay production.
4.5 The Customer warrants that all artwork, logos, images, content, offers, promotions and advertising materials provided to Local Coasters do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights and comply with all applicable Australian laws, advertising standards and consumer protection requirements.
5. Production and Delivery
5.1 Production will commence only after Local Coasters has received full payment and the Customer has approved the artwork proof.
5.2 Orders are typically delivered to the Designated Venue within three (3) to four (4) weeks of artwork approval and full payment clearance. During peak periods, public holidays, supplier delays or high-volume production periods, delivery may take longer.
5.3 Local Coasters is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, transportation disruptions, venue access issues, supplier delays, equipment failure or third-party production delays.
5.4 Delivery is limited to the Designated Venue specified at the time of order placement unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any changes to delivery address, venue or placement details must be requested in writing and approved by Local Coasters.
6. Cancellations, Deposits and Refunds
6.1 The Customer may request to cancel an order in writing before artwork approval and before print production has been booked or commenced.
6.2 Because the deposit secures the Customer’s category placement and allows Local Coasters to begin artwork preparation, QR code setup, administration and campaign scheduling, a portion of the deposit may be retained if the Customer cancels after setup work has commenced.
6.3 If the Customer cancels after deposit payment but before artwork approval and before print production has been booked or commenced, Local Coasters may retain 50% of the deposit to cover artwork preparation, QR code setup, administration and reserved placement costs. The remaining 50% of the deposit may be refunded.
6.4 If the Customer cancels after artwork approval, after print production has been booked, or after printing or production has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable.
6.5 If the Customer cancels after full payment has been made and after artwork approval, print booking or production commencement, refunds are not available except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
6.6 If Local Coasters has incurred costs greater than the retained portion of the deposit, including but not limited to artwork costs, supplier costs, printing costs, QR code setup, venue scheduling or other production-related costs, Local Coasters reserves the right to retain or recover those reasonable costs, subject to Australian Consumer Law.
6.7 Refunds will not be provided for delays caused by the Customer, including late supply of logos, business information, artwork, QR code links, offer details, approval delays or failure to pay the balance when due.
6.8 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights the Customer may have under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Defects, Reprints and Australian Consumer Law
7.1 The Customer must notify Local Coasters in writing of any alleged defect, printing issue or order issue within five (5) business days of delivery or placement at the Designated Venue.
7.2 Where there is a major failure or defect in the product or service, the Customer may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
7.3 Local Coasters is not responsible for errors, omissions, incorrect details, spelling mistakes, QR code destinations, offers, phone numbers, website links, social media links or design elements that were supplied by the Customer or approved by the Customer in the final artwork proof.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the extent permitted by law, Local Coasters is not responsible for:
Errors in artwork or information approved by the Customer.
Incorrect QR code links or destinations supplied or approved by the Customer.
Loss or damage caused during transit by third-party delivery services.
Venue delays, venue refusal, venue closure, management changes or venue access issues outside Local Coasters’ reasonable control.
Customer dissatisfaction arising from expected sales, leads, enquiries, scans, calls, bookings or business results.
8.2 Local Coasters does not guarantee a specific number of QR code scans, customer enquiries, leads, sales, bookings, impressions or conversions from any campaign.
8.3 To the extent permitted by law, Local Coasters’ liability for any breach of these Terms or other claim is limited to the resupply of goods or services, reprint of affected products, or refund of the amount paid for the affected goods or services, as determined in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
9. Compliance with Laws
9.1 The Customer warrants that all advertising content, offers, claims and promotions comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to laws concerning false or misleading representations, pricing, discounts, consumer guarantees, privacy, defamation, intellectual property and advertising standards.
9.2 Local Coasters reserves the right to refuse, pause or cancel orders containing content that we reasonably consider to be inappropriate, offensive, misleading, unlawful, defamatory or likely to breach advertising standards or venue requirements.
10. Privacy Policy
10.1 Any personal information collected during the order process will be used for the purposes of processing the order, preparing artwork, setting up QR code functionality, communicating with the Customer, supplying the campaign and complying with legal requirements.

11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Any disputes arising out of or relating to this agreement must first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations between the parties.
11.2 If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to mediation or another appropriate dispute resolution process before either party commences legal proceedings, except where urgent injunctive relief is required.
12. General Provisions
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
12.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
12.3 Any variation to these Terms must be agreed in writing by Local Coasters.
