The Ministers' Conference of Winston-Salem and Vicinity MLK Jr. Scholarship will be given to selected students who are graduating high school seniors and are members of a church that has contributed, in the current year, to the MCWSV MLK Scholarship Memorial Seed Fund. The Ministers' Conference of Winston-Salem and Vicinity awards $1,000 (towards a 4-year college) or $500 (towards a community/technical college). All scholarships are valid for one year and are non-renewable.
Applicants requirements for the MCWSV MLK Scholarship:
- Be a high school senior with a GPA of 2.0 or better.
- Plan to enroll in and attend a University or an institution of higher learning in North Carolina.
- Involved in church, civic, community, or school extracurricular activities
- Two letters of recommendation, with one being from your pastor/faith leader.
- Administration certification (form provided)
- Teacher's Verification (form provided)
- The applicant's church must be an active contributor (Jan.-Dec. of the current year) to the MLK Scholarship Memorial Seed.

- Mail in or e-mail your two letters of recommendation.
