NDHSA Charitable Donations

The NDHSA exists to support homeschooling families throughout the state of North Dakota. We are an unapologetically Christian organization, but we exist to support all homeschooling families in the state. We employ an office staff member who answers phone calls and emails from homeschooling families. We maintain a number of support groups throughout the state, and make sure families are connected with these groups. We host a statewide convention each year with speakers, workshops, a vendor hall and used book sale. We host a "Day at the Capitol" every two years for homeschooling families to meet their legislators and learn more about the legislative process. We send out an e-newsletter to all of our members each month, as well as anyone who requests a copy. We maintain a presence on social media to ensure ND homeschooling families have accurate and current information regarding homeschool law and information. We keep a roll of our members and send out a welcome packet each year to them which includes a teacher ID and special discounts on national retailers. We retain a lobbyist, whose goal it is to keep our members and board informed of any bills that could affect homeschooling freedom and undertakes to write bills that improve homeschooling freedom.
