Mason String Intensive will use the following placement video submission and information determine placement in the program's chamber/small ensembles. In addition to completing this form, all students must also register for the String Intensive program using the link on the website.

All registered students must complete the form below and prepare the following audition materials in one recorded video, as described below.

Placement Materials

This program is designed for intermediate and advanced players. Please record the following:
- 3-octave major scale (2-octaves for double bass)
- 3-octave minor scale (2-octaves for double bass)
- 2 contrasting excerpts from solo repertoire that best demonstrate your ability (5 minutes total)
