General Scholarship Application Form

Complete this application to be considered for the Utah Promise, Technical Education, C. Scott & Dorothy E. Watkins Foundation Scholarship, On The Rise, or other needs-based scholarships.
Eligibility
- Applicants must meet the requirements for Utah Residency
- Adult students with a high school diploma or GED
- High school seniors in their last semester
- Have submitted a FAFSA Application
- MTECH students must be in good academic standing
Scholarship Application Timing
Prospective students should only apply for scholarships within 90 days of eligibility to enroll in their chosen program. Please check your program’s page on the MTECH website for the next registration date.

Students applying to lottery-based (e.g., Cosmetology, Nail Technology, Hair Design) or application-based programs (e.g., Radiography, Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, iOS Development, Web Programming) will not be awarded scholarships until official acceptance into the program is confirmed.
