Submittal Rules:
The number of submittals is tied to each exhibitor's square footage. Separate booths under one contract are counted as one booth with total sq. footage as outlined in contract. The submitted product (or prototype) must be ready and showcased at Lightfair 2025. An independent panel of judges will review each submission and the winners will be announced at Lightfair 2025. Awards will be given to “Best Product of the Year,” “Design Excellence,” “Technical Achievement,” and “Judges Citation,” as well as “Best of Category” Awards. The panel reserves the right to move/consolidate product categories to ensure comparison of like products. The panel also reserves the right to edit submissions for reasons such as propoer lighting language, emphasis on product performance, etc. All decisions by the LIA judges are final.
Number of submittals is based on booth size. If you'd like to submit more products than your booth size allows, please consider a booth upgrade:
- 10' x 10' and 10' x 20' booths (100/200 sq. ft.) = 1 product
- 30' x 10' and 20' x 20' booths (300/400 sq. ft.) = 2 products
- 30' x 20' and 40' x 20' booths (600/800 sq. ft.) = 3 products
- 30' x 30' and 50' x 20' booths (900/1000 sq. ft.) = 4 products
- 30' x 40' or 40' x 30' and 30' x 50' (1200/1500 sq. ft.) = 5 products
- Booth size greater than 1500 sq. ft. = 8 products
