    We are excited that you’re considering returning to the Ocean City Workforce Development Program for another summer! This application is specifically for past participants who are ready to step into a new level of responsibility and leadership.

    As a returner, you are no longer just a participant—you will be viewed as a captain and a role model for the cohort. This means we will expect you to set the tone for others, lead by example, and take ownership of your growth and the program’s success. Only apply if you are fully committed to being a leader all summer long.

    Take your time answering the application questions thoughtfully. This is your chance to show us how you’ve grown and how you’re ready to embrace this leadership role.

     Important: Before You Begin Your Application

     To complete this application smoothly, make sure you have the following ready:

    1. A copy of your most recent transcript

    2. A photo of your identification documents (ID) (i.e., Passports, State, School, Learner's Permit, or others)

    3. Parent or guardian contact information.

    4. The time and focus on answering thought-provoking questions about yourself.

  • DevelopMore is a workforce development program that places participants with employers for summer jobs in Ocean City, MD. Employers are legally required to verify each employee's eligibility for employment via Form I-9.

    On the form, employees must attest to their employment authorization. Employees must also present their employer with acceptable documents as evidence of identity and employment authorization. The employer must examine these documents to determine whether they reasonably appear genuine and relate to the employee, then record the information on the employee’s Form I-9.

    Step 2 of Form I-9 addresses citizenship or immigration status. You must be either a US citizen, a noncitizen national of the US (e.g., American Samoa), a lawful permanent resident, or a noncitizen authorized to work.
