I would like to become a member of this Club based out of the 7Arts building in Greenwood, NS.
I understand this is a community-based club and not a business venture. This Club provides a social support network for Artists of all ages and backgrounds. 7Arts mission is to teach, support and promote the arts and art education in Greenwood and surrounding area. Our club supports this mission so if you live in the Annapolis Valley, this club is for you.
N.O.V.A. Club – New Opportunities for Valley Artists.
The Club will help local artists:
- Teach. You can teach lessons or workshops if you want. Join another Artist event to learn how. Ask questions and support or lead an event.
- Self Promote. Sell your art in the gallery & join shows at other locations.
- Create. Make art while you host the studio. Sign up and help in the studio once a month.
- Select paid opportunities (when available). 7Arts receives lots of requests for paint nights, special events, gallery shows, commissions and community projects. Ex: Greenwood Street Banners, Kingston Village Community Mural, Kingston Village Art in the Park.
- Meet. 7Arts & N.O.V.A. Club provides introductions but the success of the partnership will be based on your personal interactions. We can offer assistance and advice when requested.
- Knowledge is Power! We share grants, workshops and other opportunities.
