BOOKINGS: A signed bridal contract and a $100 retainer fee will secure the client’s wedding date, if the client chooses wedding day services. The total balance will be due two weeks before the event. An invoice with the remainer balance and due date will be sent to you once the retainer has been paid.

Retainer Fee – Wedding Day Services
The Retainer Fee is not a deposit. It is a one-time, non-refundable booking fee required to secure your wedding date and is due at the time of booking. This fee covers reserving your date, creating a customized schedule with detailed time stamps and the names/order of each person receiving services, as well as the behind-the-scenes planning and coordination provided to help ensure your wedding day runs as smoothly as possible.
The Retainer Fee is the only payment due upfront. The remaining balance is due one (1) week prior to the event date.
TRIAL BOOKINGS: A cost of $125 will be charged for every bridal trial. The bride is responsible for coordinating and scheduling a desired trial run. Any client 10 minutes late to their trial booking will result in a cancellation of thier appointment and charged full price. Bridal trials are highly recommended anywhere from 2-4 months before the wedding day. GDTA only offesr a bridal trial for the bride. If other members of the wedding party are wanting to trial they can book a regular makeup application appointment. We do require a $5 downpayment to secure the trial. Trials can be booked through website. www.auraestheticsict.com and will take place at Eleven Studio Salons in room 8.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Wedding cancellations must be made as soon as possible. Deposits/retainers fees ARE NONrefunable. If paid in advance, the remaining balance is fully refundable if cancelled at least 95 days prior to the reserved date. If cancelled less than 95 days in advance, your transactions can no longer be refunded and will result in the loss of your booking. The retainer is non refundable and a booking fee.
PAYMENT: The final balance is due one week before the day of the event — no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on this contract. Accepted forms of payment include: Card or Venmo. Any final balance not paid by the balance due date will result in a $50 late fee per day late.
GRATUITIES: Gratuities are not included in the pricing lists. 20% gratuities (of all services preformed) will be added to final payment of all makeup applications booked. Gratuities can be paid with the final invoice on the due date for the remaining balance and will be included in your invoice after paying the deposit.
USE OF IMAGE/Social Media: Unless prior discussed, Makayla Stephens, may use photos taken of clients makeup on it’s website, social media and / or in any brochure, flyer. Social media helps me grow! I would appriciate being added to your vendor list. Photographers, vendors and bridal party members can tag @glowdowntheaisle @makaylaashli.mua on Instagram and on Facebook Glow Down The Aisle, when posting videos or photos.
We love sharing our work and growing our business through content creation. During your appointment, we may capture photos or short video clips throughout the makeup process to showcase our artistry on our social media platforms and marketing materials. We always strive to do this in a respectful and non-intrusive way. If you or any member of your bridal party are not comfortable being included in photos or videos for our content, please let us know prior to your appointment so we can fully respect your preferences.
BRIDAL PARTIES: In a bridal party booking, a cost of $200 applies for the brides application and a cost of $145 applies for each bridal party application.
Junior bridesmaids can be added upon request for $65 per person(s) 12U, which will include: mascara, blush, highlight, setting spray, 1 eyeshaddow color and one shimmer, lip gloss and a touch up kit.
The artist will be allotted at least one hour to complete the bride's makeup and 45 minutes to complete each person in the bridal parties makeup. If the artist is given less than one hour for the bride and less than 45 minutes to complete each person in the bridal party, this can result in the refusal of service and loss of payment unless previously discussed with the artist.
If any bridal party member opts out of getting makeup, but you have already booked them a makeup service, you will still be charged for that service.
FRIDAY & SATURDAY BRIDAL PARTY MINIMUM:
Due to limited availability and high demand for wedding dates, a minimum of four (4) makeup services is required to reserve a Friday or Saturday wedding booking. Bridal makeup counts toward this minimum. If the total number of makeup services falls below four (4), the Client will be responsible for meeting the minimum service requirement or paying the equivalent value of the minimum booking. Reservations are not guaranteed until the minimum requirement has been met and the contract and retainer have been received.
Saturday Wedding Minimum
For a Saturday wedding reservation, there must be a payment and/or service amount equivalent to the minimum pricing.
BRIDAL PARTY SCHEDULING:
All members of the bridal party receiving services must be present and at the same location at the first scheduled start time. This ensures a smooth and timely application process. If all parties are present and we are ahead of schedule, services may proceed earlier than planned to maintain efficiency and accommodate the day’s timeline.
SINGLE BRIDAL APPLICATIONS: A cost of $300 applies for all single-bride bookings. Example: the bride is the ONLY client recieving makeup wedding day services. In this booking there will be a $100 retainer fee to secure the date and the total will be due two weeks prior to the event.
Single bridal bookings are only for Monday-Friday and Sunday, unless prior discussed with artist.
The artist will be allotted at least one hour to complete a single bridal application. If the artist is given less time than one hour to complete the makeup, this can result in refusal of service and loss of payment unless previously discussed with the artist.

As the bride, you will receive an exclusive 15% discount on all services at Aura Esthetics in Wichita, Kansas, from the date this contract is signed through your wedding day. Eligible services include, but are not limited to, lash lifts, brow services, facials, makeup applications, and more.
Please note that this discount does not apply to bridal trial makeup services. You may book as many discounted services as you would like during the promotional period.
In addition, you will receive 10% off all skincare products purchased through Aura Esthetics.
INVEST IN YOUR BRIDAL BEAUTTY *Proper skincare and skin preparation play a significant role in achieving flawless bridal makeup. Healthy, well-maintained skin allows makeup to apply more smoothly! For the best results on your wedding day, regular skincare treatments and a consistent home skincare routine are highly recommended in the months leading up to your wedding!
SECOND ARTIST FEE:
A second makeup artist may be added to accommodate larger parties; however, this service is only available for bookings of six (6) or more clients. An additional fee of $100 will be applied to the total cost for the inclusion of a second artist. The second artist will be sourced, contracted, and managed solely by Makayla Stephens, and all payments for services rendered (including the second artist's fee) must be made directly to me. I will be responsible for compensating and hiring the second artist accordingly.
EARLY CALL TIME FEE: A $50/hr fee will be added to the balance for appointments starting before 8:00 A.M.
TRAVELING FEES: All travel fees are based on total round-trip mileage from the artist’s location to the event venue.
• 0–25 miles (round-trip): Flat rate of $50
• 26–50 miles (round-trip): Flat rate of $100
• Over 50 miles: An additional $1 will be added for every mile traveled beyond the initial 50-mile distance.
These fees cover travel time, fuel, and wear and tear on the artist’s vehicle. Travel fees are required to be paid in full with the remaining balance prior to the event date.Destination or out of state weddings where I am unable to drive can be dicussed further with Bride if upon interest.
Destination locations over 3 hours of my current residence may require client to over milage or airfare, and hotel accomodations. Other travel expenses, such as tolls and parking garage/valet fees, will be added to the clients invoice.
OVER NIGHT STAYS: For bridal bookings 50+ miles outside of Wichita, KS, you may be subject to accomodating an overnight stay if makeup begins before 9:00 A.M.. The MUA will inform you upon booking if overnight accomodations will be required.
HOLIDAYS: Makeup applications booked on any U.S. Holiday are subject to an added charge of $250.
Respectful Conduct & Right to Terminate
The Owner/Company reserves the right to terminate or void this Agreement, at the Owner’s sole discretion, if the Client or any person acting on the Client’s behalf engages in disrespectful, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, hostile, or otherwise inappropriate conduct toward the Owner, bridal company, or any member of the bridal company. Such conduct may include, but is not limited to, verbal abuse, intimidation, harassment, threats, repeated disrespectful communication, or behavior that creates an unsafe, hostile, or unreasonable working environment.
In the event this provision is invoked, the Company may immediately discontinue services and consider this Agreement terminated. Any refund or retention of payments will be handled in accordance with the remaining terms of this Agreement and applicable law.
Pets During Hair & Makeup Services:
Pets are not permitted in the hair and makeup service area during scheduled services. This policy is in place to protect the safety and comfort of our clients and artists, as well as the professional equipment and products we bring on-site.
Our artists travel with thousands of dollars in professional hair and makeup equipment, tools, and products. Pets can create unexpected distractions, safety concerns, or accidental damage to equipment and property, so we require that all pets remain outside of the service area.
Additionally, under Kansas Administrative Regulation K.A.R. 28-24-14, animals are prohibited in any cosmetology based establishments for health and sanitation purposes, with an exception for qualifying assistance dogs. We are required to follow applicable Kansas sanitation and safety regulations while providing services regardless of where we are.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, clean, professional, and relaxing environment for everyone. Our goal is for you and your bridal party to enjoy a peaceful, stress-free experience while getting ready for your special day.
Children During Makeup Services
For the safety, comfort, and overall experience of the bridal party and our artists, children and infants are not permitted in the hair and makeup service area during scheduled services. This policy applies to everyone receiving services, including the bride, bridal party, mothers of the bride and groom, and other guests.
This policy is in place due to previous incidents involving children accidentally damaging property or equipment, as well as children sitting on or being held by clients during makeup application. Our artists travel with thousands of dollars of professional hair and makeup equipment, products, and tools, so we must take extra precautions to protect our equipment and maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment.
We also want everyone, including moms!! To have the opportunity to relax and fully enjoy their time in the chair! Please make appropriate childcare arrangements prior to the start of your scheduled services.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Our goal is to create a calm, relaxing, and enjoyable environment where everyone can feel pampered and fully present for such an important part of the day.
IF a jr bridesmaid or flowergirl is receiving a makeup or hair service she is more than welcome to accompany the bridal party!!
Makeup Preparation Policy
All clients receiving hair and/or makeup services must arrive properly prepared!
Makeup: Clients must arrive with a clean, bare face with no foundation, concealer, mascara, or other makeup applied. Our artists do not have time scheduled to remove makeup or wash your face before services begin
Thank you for helping us stay on time and ensuring everyone receives the full experience they have booked!
DAMAGE/THEFT: In the event that there are any stolen/broken/damaged items caused by any pet, child or member of the bridal party towards the makeup kit, tools or equipment- the artist will be compensated to replenish all stolen or damaged items.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed makeup application is acknowledgement by the client that the makeup is done to the client’s satisfaction.
LIABILITY: All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup
artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client will fill out or go through the Makeup Application Form with the artist prior to the appointment.
Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist (Makayla Stephens or assistant) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
AMENDMENTS TO SERVICES: Any additional add on's or additional coverage needed must be made known at least 2 months prior.
