The Writing Fae Magazine is dedicated to showcasing the diverse voices and creative expressions of writers from all walks of life. Our submission form is designed to make the process seamless and straightforward for contributors eager to share their work with a broad and appreciative audience!

Below is a detailed description of our submission form and the guidelines to ensure your piece is ready for consideration:

All submissions are voted and judged anonymous.

You can submit both art and written work! Just look out for how many submissions are accpected in each catergaory.  

Submissions close April 25th, 2025

Final Decisions will be made by April 30th, 2025

ACCEPTED ARTWORK:

• Mixed Media Art
• Digital Art
• Sculpture

Photography (for cover contest ONLY)

• $200 prize for the winner
• Basic photo editing (e.g., cropping, color correction) is allowed
• Over-manipulated images or those with added text will be disqualified
• No AI in any way, shape, or form should be used in photo submissions

ACCEPTED SHORT STORIES:

• 1,000 to 3,000 words long
• All fiction and speculative fiction
• Each magazine accepts up to 3 short stories per print run

ACCEPTED ARTICLES:

• 1,000 to 5,000 words long
• Each magazine accepts up to 3 articles per print run

Please note that if you are submitting a short story, you cannot submit an article, and vice versa. You must pick one or the other.

We welcome submissions from both emerging and established creatives and are committed to providing a platform that reflects speculative fiction's vibrant and dynamic nature. -2 art pieces per artist per submission cycle.

-Must be PNG, JPEG, or JPG files.

- We ask for first publication rights, but publication rights are non-exclusive. Meaning we allow for multiple parties to use or reproduce the creative work without transferring ownership as long the work has not been previously published in any other magazines or articles.

Welcome to the Fantasy Photography Contest! We are excited to see your creative visions come to life. Please carefully review the submission guidelines and rules below to ensure your entry is eligible:

Eligibility:
Open to all photographers, amateur and professional.
Participants must be 18 years or older.

Photo Requirements:
You can submit up to two photographs.

File Format:
Acceptable file formats are JPEG or PNG.

Theme:
All submissions must be based on fantasy, beach, aquatic, sunny/summer, literature, or a combination of these themes. Whimsical, nature-themed, or inspired, imaginative submissions that capture the magic of storytelling. Human models can be included in your submissions.

Contest Rules
Originality:
All entries must be original works created by the photographer.
Photos must not infringe on any third-party rights.

Editing:
