AGREEMENT TO WAIVE LIABILITY, ASSUME RISK, INDEMNIFY AND PILOT CERTIFICATION

The young person listed below (The "Minor Participant") wishes to attend and participate, and I wish to allow him or her to attend and participate in the KC Metro Aviators Summer ACE STEM Camp program, which includes riding in an airplane. I represent and warrant that I am the Minor Participant's parent or legal guardian and that I have the authority to enter into this Agreement on behalf of the Minor Participant. In consideration for being allowed to take part in the KC Metro Aviators program, the Minor Participant and I agree as follows:

The Minor Participant and I are aware of and understand the following:

1.The KC Metro Aviators program is conducted by volunteers and pilots who are licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA" These volunteer pilots fly a wide variety of aircraft that are also licensed by the FAA. I have been provided the opportunity to evaluate the airplane and pilot and I have determined that both are fit for flight.

2.Flying in airplanes and being around airplanes involves risks. Serious injury or death can result from many causes, including without limitations airplane crashes, falls, pilot error, ground crew error, engine or mechanical failure, negligent maintenance, defects in runways, interference by wildlife and other objects, difficult search and rescue conditions, inadequate emergency response, weather or terrain conditions, contaminated fuel, or hard or forced landings. Injuries could be minor such as bruises, scratches and sprains, major such as eye injuries, broken bones, or concussions, or catastrophic such as paralysis, severe burns or death.

3. The program that the Minor Participant has chosen to attend may not have trained medical personnel on-site or on call.

Assumption of Risk, Agreement to Waive Liability and Not to Sue

The Minor Participant and I (for ourselves, heirs, family members, issue, personal representatives, executors, administrators, and assigns)

Hereby:

Assume all risks and full responsibility for any injury or death arising from the Minor Participant's participation in the KC Metro Aviators program, including being on airport ramp areas that may be active, being around aircraft that may be operating and riding in an airplane with a pilot who may not be known to us; and (2) hereby irrevocably release and discharge: (a) KC Metro Aviators (b) the Sponsoring Organizations and (c) the insurers and volunteers (including pilots, owners and operators of airplanes used in the KC Metro Aviators program) of each of those corporations (collectively, the "Releasees") from, and agree not to sue the Releasees or any of them for, any and all claims against any of the Releasees for any injury or death arising from the Minor Participant's participation in the KC Metro Aviators program. This release, discharge, and agreement not to sue applies to all legal rights, including those resulting from any negligence of Releasees, other than those resulting from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of such releasees.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless

The Minor Participant and I agree to indemnify and hold the Releasees harmless from and against all claims, suits, proceedings, expenses, costs, damages, and liabilities, including attorney's fees, incurred, brought or threatened as a result of or arising out of the Minor Participant's participation in the KC Metro Aviators program. This duty to indemnify and hold the Releasees harmless applies even if any of the Releasees are negligent; however, indemnification of any Releasee is not required if such Releasee is grossly negligent or has engaged in willful misconduct.

No Representations

In entering into this Agreement and allowing the Minor Participant to participate in the program, I have not relied upon any representations or statements (including without limitation those that may be contained in marketing, advertising, or promotional materials) made by any of the other Releasees which are not specifically set forth herein.

Consent and Fitness

I am at least 18 years old and know how to read and understand the English language sufficiently to fully understand this Agreement and to appreciate its nature and consequences. I acknowledge that participation in the KC Metro Aviators program involves

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Where is the ACE Camp? The Lees Summit airport is where students will be dropped off and registered onMonday, July 7, 2025. Once all registered students arrive, we will immediately leave via bus for the Universityof Central Missouri in Warrensburg. The address is 500 S. Maguire Street, Warrensburg, MO 64093. Thestudents will remain on campus through July 11, 2025. The students will lodge in the provided dormitory roomsand will be chaperoned and always monitored during their stay.

What attire is acceptable? Student should wear comfortable clothes. Keep in mind that the tours are in business work environments and the students should dress appropriately. That is, for example, shorts to the knee or slightly above or clean or well-kept jeans (no rips or tears), and good pair of walking shoes (like tennis shoes The tours also include a substantial amount of walking.

Are there any special requirements to enter the Air Force Base? Each guest visiting the Whiteman AFB, 16 years old and over, must bring two forms of ID and one must be a photo ID. Anyone under the age of 16 must have some form of identification, like a birth certificate or social security card.

What are the behavioral expectations for the students? The camp is aviation based. This means students must follow strict behavioral guidelines and safety guidelines. These guidelines will be reviewed in detail at the start of the camp and prior to each field trip or airport activity. In general, students must adhere to all instructions provided by the camp coaches. Noncompliance may result in the student being expelled from the camp.

When do I arrive and when do I leave? Your parents should drop you off every day at 7:45 am. They should pick you up every day at 4:00 pm from the Lees Summit Airport.

What meals are included? The UMC staff will provide 3-meals per day along with snacks and an ice cream machine.

I have a special diet/food allergies/am a vegetarian. Just let us know about any diet needs on the registration form, so we will be prepared in advance for your special food needs.

Can I bring my own snacks? You do not need to bring any snacks; we provide plenty of healthy snacks and drinks.

What about my cell phone/iPod/electronics? You will be required to put them on silence during the sessions. You can use them during your free time. Permission must be explicitly granted before any pictures are taken. (Some of the venues strictly prohibit pictures ALL STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR

How much money do I need to bring? No additional funds are required. Student may shop at the gift shops at the various venues. STUDENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR MONETARY FUNDS.

Is there a closing program that my parents need to attend? On the last day of the ACE camp, there is a program that begins at 3 p.m. that parents may attend.

Will | get to fly in an airplane? Yes. If the weather permits. The flight will be conducted as part of the Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagle program. EAA Young Eagle Flight. These flights will be conducted on Friday, JULY 11, 2025.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

This camp is designed for students ages 14 - 16. The course introduces students to aviation history, aviationscience concepts, the parts of an aircraft, weather effects and terminology, aircraft systems, and aviation usesand professions. We will tour several aviation facilities as well as provide student to experience indoorskydiving and take a ride in an airplane.

CAMP GOALS

To introduce students to aviation and the basic science, technology, engineering, and math that underpins thefield in a fun and engaging way.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of this camp, students should have a basic knowledge and understanding of:

1. Why airline travel is safer than automobiles.
2. Historical aviation figures.
3. Basic theory on how and why airplanes fly.
4. Identify the key components of an airplane.
5. How aircraft are maintained.
6. Aviation weather concepts and associated general terminology.
7. The basic functions and components of an airport and how it operates.
8. How drones (unmanned aerial systems) work.
9. How airplanes are controlled at airports and other airspace.
10. How aircraft are used to transport people and cargo
