The Branded Freedom Book Project (Volume 1)
1) Project Description
The Branded Freedom book project is a passion project of mine to showcase adopted mustangs in their loving home and raise funds for Mustang Heritage Foundation to help other mustangs find homes.
I have photographed the South Steens mustangs since 2011 and have become attached to them and all mustangs. Now, I am not getting into the politics surrounding gathers but they will happen. What I am focusing on is bringing attention to the positive side of mustangs as being a great horse to utilize in different disciplines. By photographing these beautiful animals in their adopted life and sharing the discipline in which they are used, this can be used as a “voice” to bring more attention to their abilities to be gentled and a viable contender when looking for a horse.
This hard-cover book will consist of 30 adopted mustangs. Each mustang will have a full spread, (two pages) consisting of a couple of photos, that the photographer chooses, and their story (provided by their owner) of their life beyond the range.
This in an application process. For best possibility of being chosen, fill out the application to it’s fullest. Where there is a question that asks for more information, give it to me! I want to know what makes your mustang special!
2) Fees associated with project
There is a $95 session fee associated with the Branded Freedom book project, with 100% going to Mustang Heritage Foundation, the chosen beneficiary. This is a non-refundable retainer fee.
You will receive 10% off one portrait product of your choice. It can not be used on Collections and can not be combined with other offers.
At the end of the project, I will write one check to Mustang Heritage Foundation, the beneficiary.
There will be a pre-sale of the book when it is ready.
Understand, that I do not know the price of the book but others that have completed a project like this, their book was roughly $150.
3) What you get
* Your mustang photographed by me, in a private, customized session
* Your mustang’s photo(s) in a book with their own story
* A guided image reveal session and an opportunity to purchase art work
* 10% off one portrait product of your choosing (can not be used on Collections or combined with other offers). Fine art starts at $595.
* The good feeling of helping other mustangs find forever homes
* Your mustang's photo shared on social media and my email list for participation in the book project
4) What you don’t get
Digitals, art work, ability to pick the photo for the book, the book itself
Terms and Conditions
One mustang per application.
One mustang per session fee.
If you have more than one mustang and wish to apply each of them for the book, fill out an application for each mustang. An application with more than one mustang mentioned will be tossed out.
In the event that all your mustangs that you filled out an application for are selected for the book project, you will be invoiced for each mustang. Example: If you have two mustangs and fill out an application for both, both are selected, you will pay two $95 session fees ($190). They will each have their own spread in the book, with their own story. For personal portraits they can be photographed together.
