Description:

ENRS is pleased to offer six (6) conference scholarships of $500 each to student members selected to present on their research at the upcoming 37th Annual Scientific Sessions. Recipients are chosen based on a demonstrated commitment to the field of nursing research, as evidenced in the application, peer-reviewed abstract, current CV, and one letter of recommendation. The recipient must be a current ENRS member.

The conference takes place on April 3-4, 2025.

Eligibility:

• Each applicant must be a current member of ENRS and a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate program.

• The applicant must have had an abstract accepted by peer-review to the conference for either a paper presentation or a poster session. Granting of the scholarship is conditional upon the abstract being accepted.

Application Instructions:

• Electronic submissions are required. Please complete the online application below.

The application should include the following documentation:

1. A completed Personal Statement (250-word max)
2. Statement of Institutional Support/Letter of Recommendation (maximum 1 page) 

• This should be written by your professor, department head, or dean to indicate that they support your attendance at the conference as part of your professional development and, if applicable, will provide other funds to supplement this scholarship. Please be sure that the letter is on letterhead and signed. 

1. Accepted Conference Peer-Reviewed Abstract to the 2024 Scientific Sessions
2. Your CV or Résumé

Application Deadlines:

The deadline to submit your completed Scholarship Application for the 2025 Annual Scientific Sessions is Friday, February 28th, at 11:59 PM EST. Applicants will receive notice of the status of their conference scholarship applications by early March.
