    The PAR-Q is a simple self-screening tool that can help you determine if you are ready to begin a new physical activity program. It is designed to identify individuals for whom certain physical activities might be inappropriate or those who should seek further advice from a doctor or qualified exercise professional before becoming more physically active.

    If you answered "Yes" to one or more questions:Please consult with your doctor by phone or in person before increasing your physical activity and/or taking a fitness appraisal. Tell your doctor what questions you answered "Yes" to on the PAR-Q or present your PAR-Q copy. After medical evaluation, seek advice from your doctor on what type of activity is suitable for your current condition.
    If you answered "No" to all questions:You can be reasonably sure that you can start becoming more physically active - begin slowly and build up gradually. This is the safest and easiest way to go.

  • By participating in any fitness training sessions or nutritional guidance provided by TrainingbyVal, you agree to the following terms and conditions. This waiver releases TrainingbyVal and its trainer, nutritionist, employee, and affiliates from any and all liability related to your participation in the fitness and nutrition programs.
    Assumption of Risk
    Acknowledgment of Risks:You acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with physical exercise and nutritional changes, which can include, but are not limited to, muscle strains, sprains, injuries, or adverse health reactions.
    Voluntary Participation:You confirm that your participation in the fitness and nutrition programs is voluntary and you assume full responsibility for any risks or injuries that may occur.
    Health and Safety
    Medical Clearance:You affirm that you have consulted with a healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise or nutrition program, and that you are in good health and cleared to participate.
    Disclosure of Medical Conditions:You agree to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or limitations to TrainingbyVal that may affect your ability to participate safely in the programs.
    Waiver of Liability
    Release of Claims:You agree to release TrainingbyVal, its trainers, nutritionists, employees, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from your participation in the fitness or nutrition programs, including but not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.
    Indemnification
    Indemnity Agreement:You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrainingbyVal and its representatives from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation in the programs.
    Confidentiality
    Confidentiality of Personal Information:All personal information and data collected during your participation in the programs will remain confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of enhancing your fitness and nutritional journey.
    Agreement
    Understanding and Consent:By signing this waiver, you confirm that you have read and understood the terms and conditions, and agree to be bound by them. You acknowledge that this waiver is binding upon you, your heirs, executors, and assigns.

  • Cancellation Policy

    At Training by Val, we understand that life can be unpredictable. That's why we offer a flexible cancellation policy for our month-to-month personal training services, with no long-term contracts required. Here's how our cancellation policy works:
  • Cancellation Policy Details
    Flexibility without Contracts:Our month-to-month basis allows you to enjoy personal training without the commitment of a long-term contract. You can cancel anytime with the conditions outlined below.


    Cancelling month-to-month: Payments are put on an automated system. Contact trainer with in 7 days prior to payment due to change/cancel plan.
    Advance Notice for Cancellations:To cancel a scheduled session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to adjust schedules and offer the time slot to other clients.


    Late Cancellations and No-Shows:Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and no-shows will result in the session being counted as used. We appreciate your understanding as this policy helps maintain schedule integrity and fairness to all clients.

    No-shows/Late Arrivals: 15 min grace period for late arrival is given after 15 min, session will be considered as a no-show. 


    Rescheduling Sessions:If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your session. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.


    Refunds:Refunds are not available for unused sessions within a month unless there are extenuating circumstances, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
    Extenuating Circumstances:We understand that emergencies can occur. Please communicate with us as soon as possible if you encounter a situation that may require special consideration.

  • By enrolling in personal training services with Training by Val, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These guidelines are designed to ensure a safe, effective, and enjoyable experience for all clients.
    Commitment and Sessions
    Minimum Commitment Duration:Clients commit to a minimum duration of one month to ensure consistency and optimal results.
    Session Scheduling:Sessions are scheduled based on mutual availability. Clients are encouraged to book sessions in advance to secure preferred time slots.
    Cancellation Policy:Sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the session being counted as used.
    Payment Terms
    Monthly Payment:Payment for personal training services is required monthly, in advance, to continue participation in the program.
    Refunds:Refunds are not offered for unused sessions unless extenuating circumstances are present and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

    Health Assessment:Clients must complete a health and fitness assessment prior to beginning their training program. Any pre-existing conditions must be disclosed.

    Liability Waiver:Participation in personal training includes acknowledgment of potential risks associated with physical exercise. Clients agree to release Training by Val from any liability related to injury or health issues arising during the program.
    Personal Conduct
    Respect and Behavior:Clients are expected to maintain respectful and positive behavior towards trainers and other participants. Disruptive behavior may result in termination of services without a refund.
    Adherence to Guidelines:Clients agree to follow the provided training and dietary guidelines to maximize results and minimize the risk of injury.
    Privacy and Confidentiality
    Confidentiality Agreement:All personal information, including health and progress data, will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of enhancing the client’s fitness experience.
    Intellectual Property
    Use of Materials:All training materials, including workout routines and dietary plans, are the intellectual property of Training by Val and are not to be shared or distributed without permission.
