Terms and Conditions for Sunday School Attendees
1. Purpose and Participation
Sunday School provides a nurturing environment for children, youth, and families to learn about Christian values and biblical teachings.
Attendance is open to all children and youth within the church community or invited guests.
2. Code of Conduct
Attendees are expected to:
Show respect to teachers, volunteers, and fellow students.
Listen attentively and participate actively in lessons and activities.
Follow instructions and Sunday School rules.
Bullying, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated and may result in a discussion with parents or guardians.
3. Attendance and Punctuality
Attendees should arrive on time to maximize their learning experience.
Where possible, please advise if you're child will not be able to attend.
Regular attendance is encouraged for continuity and growth.
4. Safety and Security
Attendees must remain within the designated Sunday School areas at all times.
Parents or guardians must provide updated emergency contact information.
Attendees with symptoms of illness should stay home to ensure the health and safety of others.
All teachers, volunteers, and staff must possess a valid Blue Card (or equivalent child safety clearance as per local laws).
At least one Sunday School teacher or staff member present at each session will have current First Aid and CPR certification.
First Aid kits will be available on-site and maintained regularly.
5. Dress Code
Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for a church environment.
Comfortable clothing suitable for movement and activities is recommended.
6. Materials and Belongings
Attendees may bring their own Bibles if preferred, though materials will be provided.
Personal belongings should be labeled and are the responsibility of the attendee.
7. Parental Involvement
Parents or guardians are encouraged to support their child’s learning by discussing lessons at home.
They may be asked to assist with specific events or activities when needed.
8. Behavioral Support
If an attendee requires special support or has unique needs, parents or guardians should communicate this to the Sunday School Coordinator to ensure proper accommodations.
Persistent behavioral issues will be addressed in partnership with the child’s family.
9. Participation Waiver
By enrolling their child in Sunday School, parents or guardians acknowledge and agree that the church is not liable for any injuries or incidents occurring during Sunday School hours, provided safety protocols are followed.
10. Amendments and Updates
These terms and conditions may be updated periodically to better serve attendees. Parents or guardians will be notified of any changes.
Please note this is open to all children, it is not mandatory for parents or guardians to attend our Sunday services BUT all are welcome to attend our Sunday services in the same building. We would love to have you all!
