HIGH ADVENTURE

Optional backpacking trip for ages turning 14+! We will backpack on Wednesday, sleep on the trail at Tom's Run one night, and then backpack in to Pine Grove Furnace on Thursday afternoon.

*Each youth must carry their own pack and gear.*

Parents: please include your youth in the decision to join this high adventure!

"feel the Spirit of the Lord, grow in unity and love, and strengthen their faith and testimonies of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ."

Who gets to attend?

CAMP: Young Women who turn 12 beginning in January 2025 may attend overnight Young Women camp. If they turn 18 prior to July 24th, please feel free to attend one last fabulous YW Camp before they head out to the next adult chapter in their lives!

HIGH ADVENTURE: Young Women who turn 14 or older beginning in January 2025 may attend the backpacking trip. If they turn 18 prior to July 24th, they are still welcome to attend!

*Backpacking list and detailed info will be sent to Ward Camp Directors and to YW who have registered for the high adventure. We will have a 'shakedown' prior to camp to assist with any backpacking and gear questions.

Occasionally, photos of campers are included on our social media platforms. In order for your daughter's image to be included in these areas, Hagerstown Stake YW Camp must have your approval.*

In the Young Women Camp Guide it states "Young Women need a place where they can gather together, separate from worldly influences," therefore cell phones are discouraged at camp. If you choose to bring a cell phone, please bring at your own risk. If requested, a leader will hold it in a waterproof container and give access if needed. The church leaders will not be held liable for any lost/damaged cell phones or other electronic items. Parents, if you need to contact your daughter during camp, you may reach out to any ward or stake leader. Likewise, Young women can call home from a leader's phone at anytime, no questions asked. I also understand that cell phone service at Pine Grove Furnace is extremely spotty. By signing below, I agree to the cell phone policy at girls camp.*
