Terms and Conditions for Kids’ Cooking Workshop
By registering your child for the Kids’ Cooking Workshop, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Registration and Payment
1.1. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of the full payment or a deposit (if applicable).
1.2. Payment is non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by the organiser.
1.3. Any outstanding balance must be paid by the specified due date to secure your child’s place.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1. If you need to cancel your child’s registration, written notice must be provided at least 7 days prior to the start of the workshop for a 50% refund.
2.2. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop start date.
2.3. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or an alternative date will be offered.
3. Participant Responsibilities
3.1. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child arrives on time and is collected promptly at the end of the session.
3.2. Participants must adhere to safety instructions and guidelines provided by the workshop facilitators.
3.3. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in the participant being asked to leave the workshop. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
4. Medical and Dietary Information
4.1. Parents/guardians must disclose any allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions during registration.
4.2. The organiser will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
4.3. In the event of a medical emergency, the organiser will contact the emergency contact provided during registration and, if necessary, seek immediate medical attention.
5. Liability
5.1. The organiser will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants; however, parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in cooking activities carries some inherent risks.
5.2. The organiser is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur during the workshop unless caused by gross negligence.
5.3. Parents/guardians are responsible for any damages caused by their child to workshop equipment or facilities.
6. Media Release
6.1. By consenting to the media release during registration, parents/guardians grant the organiser permission to photograph or film their child for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and advertising materials.
6.2. Parents/guardians who do not consent must indicate this on the registration form.
7. Workshop Changes
7.1. The organiser reserves the right to change the workshop schedule, curriculum, or location if necessary.
7.2. Parents/guardians will be informed promptly of any changes.
8. Confidentiality
8.1. Personal information provided during registration will be used solely for workshop-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
9. Agreement
By registering for the Kids’ Cooking Workshop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
