ABOUT THE EVENT

The Scholarfish Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 9:30 - 11:00 am. This is a charity tournament with all net proceeds going to Sail/Swim Program scholarships to be awarded to applicants by The Hyannis Yacht Club Foundation. The cost of the tournament is $30.00 per child. Children are twelve years old or younger. Entry fee includes bait, tournament t-shirt, one raffle ticket and lunch for youth anglers.

ADULT LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED. TICKETS FOR ADULT LUNCH ARE AVAILABLE FOR $25.00 PER PERSON. ADDITIONAL LUNCH FOR A CHILD IS $10.

Note: a 3% service fee will be added if you pay via credit card.

All Youth Anglers MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire event.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION AND RULES

The cost of $30.00 per child includes: bait, one t-shirt, raffle ticket and lunch. Pre- registration is very much appreciated.

All entry fees are non-refundable.
The tournament will take place from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday July 12.
The tournament will be held at the Hyannis Yacht Club, on the main dock east of the dock shack.
While on the dock, US Coast Guard approved life jackets must be worn at all times by youth anglers.
Anglers and Parent/Guardian(s) should arrive 15 minutes early.
We encourage anglers to bring their own equipment. If equipment is needed, a limited number of fishing rods and life jackets will be provided by our tournament sponsors.

WAIVER/RELEASE FORM

The undersigned acknowledges that the above referenced child is not older than 12 years of age and will be accompanied by an adult of my choosing, 18 years or over during this event. As parent/guardian I assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in this event including, but not limited to potential cuts, bruises, broken bones, falls, contact with other participants and organizers of the event, the effects of weather, and the conditions of the water and dock, all such risks being known by me for an event of this type occurring on or near the water.

I acknowledge and accept the terms herein on behalf of myself and the child fully knowing the potential issues and in consideration of you accepting our entry to the event. Therefore, on behalf of my child, myself, or anyone else acting on my or my child’s behalf, I hereby waive and release and indemnify The Hyannis Yacht Club Foundation and the Hyannis Yacht Club, their respective officers, Trustees, all sponsors, members, volunteers and officials of the event from any and all claims and/or liabilities which could occur at or during this event.

Furthermore, I attest that the child is in proper physical and psychological condition to participate in this event and I hereby grant full permission to use my child’s name and any photographs, videos or other records of this event for any marketing project and/or legal purpose. By executing this document, I accept and understand the terms of this waiver/release.
