This contract is an agreement with the North State Barrel Racing Association, and by submitting this contract, the Producer agrees to conduct all NSBRA approved barrel races in accordance to the guidelines listed below and as reflected in the current NSBRA rule book for NSBRA Prime races and use NSBRA rule book as secondary if a NSBRA co-sanction and utilizes their own set of rules.
Association, here-in-after referred to as “NSBRA”. By the signing of this contact, the Producer as listed above agrees to the following:
- Producer must be a current member in good standing of NSBRA or pay a $30 annual associate membership fee prior to sanctioning races.
- Race details must be posted on the NSBRA official website. Race details must outline location, contact information for the event, entry fee and any additional fees for contestants to review.
- Results, Recap Sheet and prime race fees ($5 per Open run) are to be sent to NSBRA within 10 days of the race.
- Results are to reflect the number of down barrels in a completed run if it is considered a no-time for that Producers race. Results reflecting “no-time” should only be those who went off course aka did not complete their pattern.
- Race results and Co-Sanction reports are to be emailed to NSBRAPoints@gmail.com in a spreadsheet format: excel, Google Sheets, .cvs format.
- Membership forms collected on site are to be mailed to: 7030 Happy Valley Rd, Anderson, CA 96007 or direct members to the official NSBRA website for online membership application.
- Race fees are to be mailed to current NSBRA Treasurer with Recap Form as listed on the NSBRA website. Mailing address is listed on Recap Form and website. Producers may not charge more than the current primary or co-sanction fee as listed in the NSBRA Rule Book. Recap forms are available for the Producer to print out on the official NSBRA website and are to be included with funds for Treasurer and Points Director to account for any payments with results.
- NSBRA Prime Race: $5 for every Open run
- NSBRA Co-Sanction Race: $5 per Open run as selected and paid by NSBRA member. It is optional for an active NSBRA member to pay this fee at any co-sanction race.
- All NSBRA barrel races must be on the NSBRA website calendar a minimum of 7 days prior to the race, or points will not count. If less than 7 days must be with current board approval.
- NSBRA can provide provide a Million-dollar liability insurance policy, with additional million-dollar liability insurance available for $20.00. This only applies to NSBRA Prime race.
- Please request additional insurance by contacting NSBRA Secretary as listed on the NSBRA website.
A standard course should be set whenever possible. Standard course guidelines are available in the NSBRA bylaws and Rulebook at www.nsbra.com
It is the responsibility of the arena operator to have a copy of the NSBRA rulebook at all races and follow NSBRA sanctioned arena rules and Primary arena operator rules accordingly. The Bylaws and Rulebook are available on NSBRA website.
By completing this form and submitting Producer agrees to hold harmless NSBRA for any damages or liability that may occur in or out of the arena at any approved NSBRA barrel race.
