    ACE CODE OF CONDUCT

  • COMMITMENT CONTRACT

  • As an ACE CHEERLEADER, I will represent my team at all times. While I am at practice, team events, comps, while I am at home, and in and out of the community.

I understand that being an ACE CHEERLEADER means I'm a role model who is always respectful towards my elders, teachers, parents, and peers. I will go to school and set a good example for my peers. I will also treat my peers with respect and not involve myself in bullying, fighting, or any bad behavior, on social media, or physically in person or behind their back.

  • Being an Angel cheerleader on ACE requires a great deal of commitment. It demands dedication, reliability, and hard work. To achieve a successful team, we need all of our athletes to be 100% committed at all times. This includes punctual attendance at all practices. Absences affect not only the individual but also the team. When you are absent, your team cannot work on important routines and stunts. Your commitment to attend all ACE activities, performances, and competitions is essential. During practice, you are expected to work hard, recognize that there is always room for improvement, and give your best effort. If you are having a bad day, we ask that you leave any negative feelings at the door and come into practice each day as if you are performing.

  • ABSENCES AND TARDIES

  • Tardiness and absences during practice and activities/competitions will result in you running 2 laps around the gym along with 10 burpees for every 5 minutes late. Once you are done, you must join the rest of the team and continue with warm-ups and then complete all warm-ups that were missed.

All absences are unexcused. If you are sick, we ask you to still join practice to the best of your abilities or sit out to observe what is being worked on. If you are too sick to attend practice, please provide a doctor's note. All positions in cheer will not be held and you run the risk of being moved out of your position if absent/late.

Absences must be approved by your head coach in order to be excused. It will have to be signed off and put in your file by your head coach each time. We are going to be on top of tardies and absences. Constant absences will result in dismissal from the team. Coaches cannot make routines with constant absences because every athlete has an important role in the routine.

  • TARDY AND ABSENCE POLICY

  • 3 TARDIES = 1 ABSENCE

    3 ABSENCES = WRITE UP

4 ABSENCES = DISCUSSION WITH PARENT ABOUT COMMITMENT/ PARENT/ATHLETE SIGN AGREEMENT

  • PARENT COMMITMENT

  • I will ensure my athlete attends practices, events, performances, and competitions on time every day. I will encourage my athlete to never miss practices and advise a head coach with as much notice as possible if my athlete will be absent or tardy. If going on vacation, as much notice as possible is required, but the athlete's position will not be held. Blackout days have a no-absence policy, and no absences will be excused. These typically occur starting few weeks before a major event or competition. All competitions are blackout days. As a parent, I may not always agree with my athlete's placement in a routine, but I will not address a coach negatively at any time. If I have questions or concerns, I will email charles.pina@angelcheerelite.com, and if further steps are needed, he will set those up.

As parents of our athletes, we consider you family and do not want any negativity towards each other.

  • CLOSED PRACTICES

  • All ACE practices are closed. Athletes should be dropped off before practice starts and picked up at dismissal time. This helps to keep athletes focused. Coaches, staff, team parents, and athletes are the only ones allowed in during practices. Parents, siblings, friends, and family will not be permitted for practices.

  • BEHAVIOR

  • Cheerleaders should attend practice wanting to learn and work hard every day. They must be respectful to all coaches, staff, parents, and peers. Bullying, disrespect, or negative talk towards any of the before mentioned will not be tolerated. If such occurs, there will be one discussion with the parents, and then the individual will be dismissed from team.

  • BEHAVIOR POLICY

  • 1 BEHAVIOR = WARNING FROM COACH

2 BEHAVIOR = DISCUSSION WITH PARENT

3 BEHAVIOR = DISMISSAL FROM TEAM

  • SPORTSMANSHIP

  • REGISTRATION/TUITION

  • Registration is due before an athlete can attend any practices or events. 100% of the registration is due before starting as an ACE CHEERLEADER. Once payment for registration is paid, they will be able to begin practices.

Tuition will be sent out on the 15 of each month and due on the 1st of each month, with a $25 late fee applied after the 3rd. Other items might also be included in the package. Athletes must purchase the package at the beginning of the season. Additional items may be available individually for optional purchase.
