Educated Angels, non-profit, is pleased to offer four (4) Summer Internships and $1,000 Scholarships to future Educators!
Intern Application Summer 2026
Thank you for your interest in the Make It Work (MiW) internship opportunity through Educated Angels for the 2026 Summer. This opportunity is available to High School juniors & seniors interested in the field of education. All applications are due by: March 23, 2026. Applications can be submitted online, in person, or by mail.
General Instructions to Applicant
1. Submit application by March 23, 2026.
2. Include the written essay and upload two letters of recommendation from a coach, teacher, employer, or spiritual leader who has known you for at least one year.
3. Teaching dates for the 2-week Summer Internship will be determined (June/July). This is a hands-on teaching experience. Interns MUST complete the Internship to receive the Scholarship.
4. Participate in an interview process in March/April (date TBD).
5. Winners notified no later than April 2026.
6. Attend the Scholarship Recognition Reception ~ May/June 2026.
7. INTERN MUST REQUEST SCHOLARSHIP AWARD NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 26, 2027 (specific instructions will be included during training).

**Interns will have student contact hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm (time subject to change).
**Interns will participate in mentoring on Fridays 10am-2pm with mentor staff or representatives.
**Interns may be required to pass a background check and fingerprinting. These will be done at the expense of MiW, if deemed necessary, however, if Intern fails to complete the Internship, the cost will be billed to them.
Areas of Responsibility and Learning Opportunities are as follows:
1) Working directly with students
2) Learning how to use the TEKS
3) Learning how to modify assignments and activities for students with disabilities
4) Becoming proficient in using online teaching resources
5) Developing lesson plans to meet the needs of all learners
6) Learning different classroom management techniques
7) Parent Communication Skills
8) Organizational Techniques (grading, filing, student portfolios, and basic office skills)
