Disability Day on the Hill (DDH) is our chance to gather as a community and take part in the legislative process. This year, Family Voices of Tennessee (FVTN) and the Tennessee Disability Coalition have limited funding available to assist families and individuals with the cost-burden associated with traveling to Nashville to attend DDH in-person.
Family Voices of Tennessee has limited funding available to support families of children/youth with special healthcare needs, chronic illness, or disability. This assistance will pay for travel and/or one hotel room for DDH 2026.
The Tennessee Disability Coalition has established a fund to support community participation in DDH 2026. This assistance will pay for travel and/or one hotel room to attend DDH in-person events.
Preference will be given to the following:
- Families or individuals attending DDH in-person for the first time
- Families or individuals from marginalized communities such as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer (LGBTQ+), or Rural areas.
The deadline to apply is the end of the day on January 15, 2026.
The week of January 27th, all applicants will be emailed (the email address on this application) to let them know if they have been selected.
