MARKET TRADERS

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a market trader at Victorious Festival 2025 (inc: clothing, accessories, arts & crafts, charity stalls etc) *bar/alcohol sales are not accepted*

- You must read the 'Market Pack' BEFORE completing this application form; this is available to read/download on the next page and via our website;

- You must complete a SEPARATE application form for EACH STALL you wish to apply for.

- You must attach all required documentation as listed within the 'Application Checklist' listed at the end of this application form. Your application WILL NOT BE ASSESSED until all of these documents are received. 

- If your application is successful a Pitch Confirmation will be sent via email. If approved, an invoice will be issued - full payment (inc. electricity, green deposit & any other charges) by bank transfer to Victorious Festivals Ltd will then be due. The pitch is not guaranteed until payment has been received. You will have a maximum of 14 days to make payment, otherwise the pitch will be offered to another trader.

Pitch sizes MUST BE ACCURATE - if your application is successful, the measurements you input will be used to allocate your pitch. Ensure you include space for TOW BARS / GUY ROPES etc in your sizing (if applicable).

Please Note: Vehicles are not permitted behind market trader pitches - with the expection of Common Stage traders.

Trading set-up's must be strong, sturdy, insured, flame retardent and suitable for all weather.

If you require a larger pitch size please write the size required in the 'Other' section.

Victorious Festival is striving to reduce it's impact on the environment, this is especially important to us as we are lucky enough to host our festival right next to the Sea.

In partnership with the AIF's #DrasticOnPlastic initiative we plan to eliminate single-use plastics. We kicked this off in 2018 and are commited to continue the project with further steps in place. Listed below are initiatives you must uphold if your application to trade at our event is successful:-

-No plastic straws
-No polystyrene
-Only bio-degradable glitter to be used / sold
-Only bio-degradable/recyclable serve wear, stirrers, cutlery, cups, bags etc.

RECYCLING - We will have various recycling points for all traders to utilise onsite. They will be located behind runs of caterers. You must flat pack and store all recyclable materials within these areas rather than use the general waste bins. Further info on this will be available closer to the event.

All traders are required to put up a Green Deposit.

Market Trader Green Deposits are set at £50 per pitch. All Green Deposits will be added to your invoice if your application is successful. Green Deposits will be returned within 30 days after the event, provided your designated pitch has been left tidy and in good order and relevant account details have been provided. If your pitch is not left tidy and in good order then Victorious Festivals Ltd. have the right to retain all or part of your Green Deposit.

This information will be deleted if your application is unsuccessful. If you're application is successful, this information will be deleted post-event.

Please be aware that across certain product types, we may be operating a brand exclusivity policy. In these instances, you will be required to ensure that all stock you offer for sale within the relevant product categories are from the designated brand(s).

In certain instances, you may also be required to purchase such products from a specified third party. More information on this will be discussed with you upon successful application.

Victorious Festival is committed to being an inclusive event, welcoming Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent festivalgoers, crew, and performers. To ensure an accessible experience for everyone, we ask all traders to prioritize accessibility at their stalls and venues.

We work closely with Attitude is Everything  to assess and improve accessibility standards across the festival, including the markets and bars. Remember, not all disabilities are visible.

Here’s a summary of key guidelines to follow:

Step-Free Access
- Ensure your stall provides step-free access wherever possible.
- If your structure has a raised level, include a ramped entrance and exit.

Entrances and Access Routes
-  Keep entrances clear, with a minimum width of 1.2m for wheelchair users.
- Avoid placing unnecessary barriers (e.g., A-boards or displays) in access routes.
- Queue systems must be at least 1.2m wide.

Ramps
- Ramps must have a minimum gradient of 1:12, solid handrails, and kickboards along
the edges.
- Use non-slip, textured surfaces like roof felt.

Flooring
- Avoid raised flooring where possible. If necessary, ensure ramped access with a
minimum width of 1.2m.
- Flooring must be flat, non-slip, and free of trip hazards.

Counters
- Counters should ideally include a lowered section (below 850mm) for wheelchair
users, with a recessed area underneath for ease of access.
- If this isn’t possible, staff should accommodate by taking orders directly in front of
the counter.

Seating Areas
- Ensure routes around seating areas are accessible and leave space for wheelchair
users at tables.

Large Print Price Lists
- Provide laminated price lists in easy-to-read formats (Arial, 18pt font, black text on
white background).
- Picture-based menus are also encouraged.

Be Friendly and Inclusive
- Train your team to assist all customers with patience and kindness. Patience,
kindness and offering extra help will make all the difference to some customers.
- Most disabilities are not visible—be proactive in offering help.
- Display a sign explaining how customers can request additional assistance.

Together, we can ensure Victorious Festival is a welcoming and inclusive experience for all.

It is essential that the Application Checklist below is fully completed with the submission of this online application form.

If any required documentation is missing from your application then it will not be considered.

Should any documents be up for renewal before or during the event then please provide evidence of your current document. If your application is successful then it is your responsibility to provide us with the renewed document 14 days BEFORE the opening of the event.

If successful, payment by bank transfer to Victorious Festivals Ltd is due upon receipt of invoice.

Your pitch offer is not guaranteed until this payment has been received. You will have a maximum of 14 days to pay, otherwise the pitch will be offered to another trader.
