  • Summer Field Trip and Outreach Form 2025

  • We look forward to enhancing your summer program with science. In order to most efficiently schedule your group, we would appreciate your replies to the following questions.

  • Based on the number of children, you should plan on {numberOf} days of field trips. Please select dates accordingly.

  • Please acknowledge the following key points for your field trip. By clicking submit, you are agreeing to abide by the requirements listed.

  • The trip is priced at $13 per student, with chaperones free. The additional cost beyond the deposit will be due upon arrival for the trip.

  • If this trip is cancelled 1 to 4 calendar days before the field trip is scheduled to occur (includes the weekend), future trips by this organization will incur a $25 cancellation fee. 

  • Field trips must arrive between 9:45 and 10 AM. If the group arrives significantly later than that, admission may be refused. 

  • Field trips last 1.5 hours.  Your group should plan on leaving by 11:15 - 11:30 am.

  • 1 chaperone per 5 students entering grades 1-3, and 1 per 10 in grades 4 and up are required. If an insufficient number of chaperones accompanies the group, the group may be turned away. Chaperones are expected to monitor behavior of the group. If students are poorly behaved, the group may be asked to leave with no refund of fee.

  • Minimum group size is 10, maximum is 20.

  • Featured this summer:

    Color Your World: What you get is more than what you see. Participants will explore light, color, and perception through engagin hands-on and eyes-on activities. You won't believe your eyes as students discover the science of light. 

    What we provide:

    Program is 1.5 hours total and includes a 30 minute interactive presentation followed by 1 hour of hands-on stations for up to 50 people. We will bring all materials necessary for the show and for the hands-on activities. If you have a larger group, we can schedule an additional hour of exploration for an additional group.

    Minimum Fee: $300. Covers show and stations for 50 students. An additional hour of stations can be provided for more students for an additional fee.

    Travel Fee: For outreach programs outside of Escambia and Santa Rosa County a travel fee of $0.70 / mile will be added.

    Cancellation Policy for Outreach programming:  If a cancellation occurs less than 14 calendar days before the program is scheduled, a $25 fee will be assessed for each day your program was scheduled. If a cancellation occurs less than 10 calendar days before the program is scheduled, a $50/day fee will be assessed.
