Disability Network is partnering with The BoomerEm to bring a fresh face to our Tech Empowerment program. We will be hosting sessions to empower people with disabilities in the technical world, teaching participants how to use tech devices, free or low cost applications, computer programs, and internet safety in a safe, supportive, and accessible way. It is our goal to make these learning sessions fun and exciting, offer opportunities to demonstrate and practice your new skills and earn prizes.
Our program offered to any adult with a disability for free and is designed for people with any level of technology experience. You may choose to participate as often or as few times as you would like, or just choose to participate in the topics you have an interest in.
We would like to offer in person sessions in the following counties: Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Kalkaska, and Antrim Counties living in MICHIGAN. Please let us know if you live in one of these counties and have a preference for in person sessions!
This year we will be holding three raffles for tech giveaways. You can earn raffle tickets by attending and participating both the Tech Empowerment monthly sessions and corresponding #TechTuesday Coffee Hour Sessions. More information will be shared after registration.
