Brentwood Noon Rotary Club 2025 Destin Legieza Scholarship Application

Among the scholarships offered by The Rotary Club of Brentwood, one scholarship specifically honors the memory of Officer Destin Legieza and has the following stipulations applicants must meet in order to be eligible.
- Must be a Senior attending a Williamson County public or private High School, or Overton High School OR an enrolled freshman or sophomore at Middle Tennessee State University
  - Residents of Williamson County who are homeschooled and meet all other requirements are also eligible
- High School GPA must be equivalent to a “B” or higher
- Must be enrolled at the Middle Tennessee State University
- Must be a Criminal Justice Major
A maximum of up to $8,000 in scholarship money is open for application to any incoming Freshman meeting criteria noted above. These scholarship funds are awarded annually in $2,000 increments, provided that recipients:
- Continue undergraduate study at the Middle Tennessee State University
  Continue Criminal Justice Major
- Be a student in good standing
- Maintain a minimum of 2.75 of 4.00 GPA at the end of each academic school year
- Successfully complete a minimum of 30 semester hours, or 45 quarter hours each academic school year.
Consideration for selection is based on the applicant’s
- Financial need
- Academic performance
- Essay content
- References
- Volunteer work and/or participation in extracurricular activities.
