Taiko Classes
Join us for an exciting journey into a World of Taiko drumming! Our classes cater to both adults and kids (ages 6 and up) in a fun, inclusive environment. Drums provided.
- Taiko Ensemble Beginners, Mondays, 5:30 PM
- Taiko Kids and Parents! Tuesdays, 4:00 PM
A fantastic way for families to bond while introducing children to this Movement and Music Art. Ages 6 and up.
- Taiko Beginners! Tuesdays, 5:30 PM
Designed for those new to the art, this class will introduce you to foundational techniques, and rhythms, while we practice Taiko music.
- Taiko Accelerated, Tuesdays, 7:00 PM
This class is designed with deeper technique and practice, faster learning, and more content. For people wanting more Taiko in their Life!
Djembe Classes
Learn rhythms of West Africa in our Djembe Classes! For people starting out or looking to enhance skills, we offer Beginner and Advanced Beginner classes, plus lessons to suit your level. Drums provided.
- Djembe Advanced Beginner, Wednesdays, 5:30 PM
For those who have some experience, this class will build on your existing skills, focusing on traditional rhythms, hand shapes, playing in ensemble. Supplemental lessons available!
- Djembe Beginner, Wednesdays, 7:00 PM
Perfect for those new to drumming, this class will introduce you to the fundamentals of djembe playing, including basic rhythms and techniques. Supplemental lessons available!
- Djembe Kids and Parents classes are available by appointment. Please contact Stuart for details.
