2025 ARPA Vocational and Workforce Development Program
The purpose of the Native Village of Georgetown ARPA Vocational and Workforce Development Program is to financially assist tribal members in acquiring new job skills, where members may have lost their employment or suffer from underemployment due to the COVID-19 pandemic by using ARPA funds. Job training and vocational training can provide the means to expand the employment opportunities of tribal members in need, in fields that are in greater demand and/or provide higher pay. Due to the short duration of the funding, this program does not include traditional two-year and four-year degree programs but does include vocational training, workforce development and other online training opportunities.
Travel and lodging are an allowable expense.
The Maximum amount a member can receive from this program is $2,500. Payments will be made directly to the place of learning/company to be applied as needed for allowable expenses, otherwise members can be reimbursed the amount of the training upon receipt of proof of payment. This program will run until all funding has been expended or until the funding ends on
