Overview:
Hart to Hart Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our growing team. Whether recovering from illness, injury or surgery, living with a chronic disability or dealing with the natural process of aging, our services are tailored to meet the individual needs of people of all ages, physical conditions and cognitive abilities. The Caregiver will provide non-medical, in-home care to elderly and disabled. Your role will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their well-being and providing companionship in a warm, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with seniors and their families, and share our vision of serving with care, integrity, and heart. Experience in memory care and damentia care is a plus.
Our clients reside in the following communities: Clayton, Dekalb, Henry and Spalding counties.
Responsibilities:
- Basic Meal Preparation.
- Provision of Transportation Services.
- Home Safety.
- Housekeeping.
- Social interaction and leisure activities.
Requirements:
- Caregiver must have 3 years of experience in a Caregiver position.
- CPR and First Aid Certification: Required for employment.
- Clear Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and a driving record check.
- TB Screening: Must have negative results.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client).
- Ability to read, write and follow instruction and completion of training or pass competency assessment, as appropriate for understanding needs of populations served by handling emergencies in the home and infection control.
