  • Archbishop John will lead the Archdiocesan pilgrimage to to World Youth Day in Korea from Sunday 1st to Monday 9th August, for those aged 18-35.

    Cost and Booking Information
    The cost of the pilgrimage is £3,270. This is in line with projected costs from other UK dioceses. A ground package is available at £1,870.

    The price includes

    • Flights (with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow)
    • Check in luggage (23kg)
    • Transfers
    • Accommodation (shared rooms) in a 3* hotel in central Seoul on a B&B basis.
    • Meal vouchers
    • Local transport
    • World Youth Day registration
    • ATOL protection and UK Government taxes.

    NOT included

    • Travel insurance (this is compulsory- all participants must have purchased this).

    Deposit

    • A deposit of £400 is required by close on Monday 29 June 2026.
    • After this date, deposits will become non-refundable, except if we are unable to offer you a place or if there is a change to the overall cost.
