KCS AAPI Art Competition 2025
Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (KCS), sponsored by the YS Kim Foundation, is hosting the AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) Art Competition.

This competition invites 1st to 12th-grade students of AAPI descent across New York State to showcase their creativity and express their cultural roots through original 2D artwork. The event celebrates the richness of AAPI identity and heritage while providing young artists with a platform to share their unique stories and perspectives through art.

The theme for this year's competition is: "The Art of Belonging: Exploring AAPI Identity and Culture."

I grant Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (KCS) permission to display my artwork and use it for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the AAPI Art Showcase & Ceremony, online galleries, and marketing materials. I understand that KCS reserves the right to make minor grammatical or typographical corrections to my submitted materials, such as my artist statement or title of artwork, for clarity or consistency, while maintaining the integrity of my submission.

Media Consent & Release
I grant Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (KCS) permission to photograph, record, and/or film me and my artwork during the AAPI Art Showcase & Ceremony and related events.
