  • *PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS FORM*

  • About the Chinook Sexual Assault Centre:

We are the only stand-alone Sexual Assault Centre in Southwestern Alberta, providing leadership, advocacy, and comprehensive services for victims of sexual violence. As a community-based organization, we not only serve people of all ages that have been impacted by sexual abuse/assault, we also provide public education and advocate with the government to create awareness and change in our society. In November 2023, we successfully completed our renovations for the Chinook Child and Youth Advocacy Centre which is specifically dedicated to helping children/youth who have experienced abuse or severe neglect.

  • About the Installation:

“Impact Unveiled: Beyond the Silence” will be hosted at the Yates Theatre Art Gallery during the month of May 2025 in observance of Sexual Violence Awareness Month. Our goal is to create a space where individuals impacted by sexual violence feel seen, heard, and supported, as well as curate art that will encourage important conversations in the community. While the focus of this project is to support individuals impacted by sexualized violence, submissions do not need to directly address this topic. We invite art that celebrates survival, healing, strength, empowerment, and the emotions tied to these experiences. Artists from all backgrounds, disciplines, and identities are encouraged to participate. This is a chance to showcase your creative voice while contributing to an installation that inspires change and offers meaningful support to a vital cause.
