Summer Professional Training Program

2026 Acting Apprentice Application
The 2026 Summer Acting Apprenticeship Program will run May 26 - June 26, 2026.

The deadline to apply is March 15, 2026.

Interviews will be scheduled between March 16-31. If you submit materials early, we may reach out to schedule an interview sooner.

Decisions will be made and communicated no later than April 1st.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Please make sure you have all of the following information with you before you begin:

1. Contact information for two references (Name, Mailing Address, Institution, Email Address, Phone Number). Your references MUST be able to speak to your abilities and interests as a theatre artist.

2. A single PDF document containing a 1-page cover letter, a copy of your most recent resume, and a headshot. This form will only accept PDFs. Please be sure to save your PDF using the following format: LASTNAME_FIRST INITIAL_SPTP_APP.PDF (i.e SHAKESPEARE_W_SPTP_APP.PDF).

3. If you have a personal website or online portfolio, there will be a space to indicate that in the form below.

4. You will be required to submit an audition video via the online hosting platform of your choice (YouTube, Vimeo, Personal Website, etc...). Audition video requirements will be outlined in the application. You MUST include a video link when applying.

All Acting Apprentice applicants MUST submit a video audition as part of their application. The audition should consist of two (2) CONTRASTING Shakespeare monologues, one of which MUST be in verse. The entire audition video (including your slate/introduction) should not exceed three (3) minutes. Please copy and paste your video link below. *
