Philadelphia Youth Basketball 2025-2026 Scholarship Application
Philadelphia Youth Basketball is dedicated to providing access to all youth regardless of their ability to pay. We provide equitable scholarship opportunities designed to support young people and families from various backgrounds, ensuring that all eligible candidates have fair access.

PYB is pleased to offer scholarships on a sliding scale for our fee-based programs. Scholarship levels will be based upon household income.

The approved scholarship level will be applied to the family household for the entire year and for each fee-based program they enroll their youth to. A new scholarship application will need to be applied for each year.

Scholarships are valid for programming beginning June 2025 to May 2026.

Accepted Documents:
- Income verification (Tax return, W-2 or pay stubs, (Must submit 3 consecutive pay stubs)
- Unemployment, Disability or SSI Benefits Planning Query Letter (Must be on official letterhead; Pictures of snap cards will not be accepted.)
- If you do not have any income and did not file income taxes, attach a note to explain

Gross Annual Income*
Gross annual income is the amount you earn each year before any taxes or other deductions are applied. This includes your salary or wages and any additional income sources such as bonuses, overtime pay, commissions, and interest or dividends from investments. Household income includes every member of a family who lives under the same roof, including spouses and their dependents. **This information will only be used to determine your scholarship level and will not be shared anywhere else.
