Hello, and welcome to the Hillside/Memorial 2026 Umpire Registration Form. We are excited to have you join our team of umpires for the new season! Each of the 300+ games expecting to be played this season on our fields will need covered and who better to do that than you?

We offer excellent same-day cash payment, training, loaned protective gear, easy game signups and more.

The following asks what umpire equipment your already own. The league will loan some protective gear, depending on availability. Chest protectors and leg guards are usually plentiful but masks are in very short supply so it is strongly recommended umpires purchase their own masks prior to the season starting.

Whatever protective gear borrowed from the league requires a deposit check to be submitted prior to receiving the equipment. Once all the equipment has been returned, we will shred your check. Otherwise, we will deposit the check after the season ends.

Chest protector = $25
Leg guards = $30
Mask = $60

If you sign up for even a handful of games, you will quickly recoup the price of a protective mask. Many umpires own the rest of their gear so that is encouraged, but not required.

Clickers and plate brushes will be available to borrow from the Snack Shack each day but expected to be returned after your games have completed each day so they can be available for other umpires.
