Booking Confirmation:
1. Your event date and time are reserved only upon receipt of a signed agreement and a deposit payment.
2. Deposit and Payment:
A deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable and ensures that your date and time are reserved exclusively for your event. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date. Failure to complete payment by this deadline may result in the cancellation of services.
3. Event Cancellation Policy:
In the case of event cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded but may be applied to a future booking if the cancellation is made at least 30 days in advance.
4. Event Changes:
Any changes to the event details (e.g., date, time, location, or number of guests) must be communicated in writing at least 3 weeks before the event. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
5. Liability:
The Mat Lab is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages to property that occur during the event. Clients assume full responsibility for their guests and the event space.
6. Weather Policy (if applicable):
For outdoor events, the client is responsible for arranging an alternative indoor location in case of inclement weather.
7. Services Provided:
The Mat Lab will provide all agreed-upon services as outlined in the booking agreement. Any additional requests during the event may be subject to availability and extra charges.
8. Photo Release:
By booking with The Mat Lab, you grant permission for photos taken during the event to be used for marketing and promotional purposes unless otherwise specified in writing prior to the event.
9. Client Responsibilities:
The client is responsible for providing a safe and suitable environment for the event, including adequate space for setups and access to necessary facilities (e.g., power outlets for DJ equipment).
10. Force Majeure:
The Mat Lab is not liable for cancellations or service interruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, emergencies, or government restrictions.
