I hereby authorize the staff of Ummul Qura Islamic School to give consent for any and all necessary emergency medical and first aid for my child while he/she is in the care of UQIS (Ambulance fees and other health care costs are the responsibility of the parent/ guardian)

🕘 Timing: Monday – Friday | 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM

2️⃣ Full-Time Islamic School Pre-K till 3rd grade

🕘 Timing: Monday – Friday | 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM

3️⃣ After-School Quran & Islamic Studies Program

🕠 Timing: Monday – Thursday | 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM (age 5-8).
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (age 9-12). 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (age 13-18)
 

* All classes on Friday end at 12:00 pm

 

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP:

Drop-off timing: 15 minutes before classes starts

Pick-up timing: Within 15 minutes of classes ending 

 

Note: If a parent needs to pick up thier child before the classes ends, they need to inform the teacher at least 1 hours beforehand.

* Please ensure that parents come promptly within these pick-up times

PARENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Preparation for the next day's lesson is the responsibily of the parents and student. 

- Please give your child a wide-ruled composition notebook to keep record of his/her progress. This must be brought to school everyday. The parent must sign it after his/her homework is done.

- The Qaidah/Tajweed/Islamic Studies/Duaas/Arabic Handwriting and all other books that UQIS recommends for a student must be purchased by parents.

- A 15 line Hifz Quran is required for all Naazirah and Hifz students. The teacher will explain which one to buy.

- Please give your child their own snacks/lunch/water.

- The teacher will teach the students basic hygiene and how to use the bathroom in the Sunnah method. It is the parent's responsibilty that they continue this practice at home.

- Parents must make sure their children use the bathroom and make Wudu before they come for classes.

- Parents must make sure their children have their Quran, books, and notebook before bringing them to school. 

- Parents must make sure their children review the day's lesson according to the teacher.

- Parents must follow all instructions of the teachers in regrads to education.

- Full-time Hifz students have to practice their homework for at least 2-3 hours according the teacher's instruction.

- Full-time Maktab students have to practice their homework for at least 1-2 hours according to the teacher's instructuons.

- Teachers are not responsible to look after the children once the pick-up time ends. The parents must make arrangements in case they are late or unable to pick up.

- Parents shall pay the monthly fees by the 5th of each month. Fees will be collected through automatically through our online portal.  

- Students should keep thier voices at a normal tone and not shout and disturb others. Respect should be considered for teachers, fellow students, and the Masjid.

- Parents must make sure that they provide their children with an Islamic enviroment.

- If parents have any feedback or concerns, then directly contact the administration immedeatly and not the teachers.

- Parents are required to participate in all parent teachers meetings.

- Parents are responsible to bring their children to all monthly youth/other programs recommended by UQIS management. This is for the development of the children.

If UQIS adds any clause within these rules, the parents and the student will abide by it.

 

TUITION & FEE SCHEDULE:

ANNUAL TUITION FEES:

Full-time Hifz Program: $6,800 yearly ($600/month, 10 months | $400/month, 2 months)

Full-time Islamic School: $5,000 yearly ($500/month, 10 months)

After School Maktab: $100/month

 

MISCELLANEOUS FEES:

Annual registration fee: $250 for full-time students | $100 for part time students.

 (required when submitting admission form)

Late tuition fee: $40

 

TUITION DUE DATE:

Pay in 12 equal installments (monthly), due on the 5th of each month. Late fee of $40 is added on the 6th of the month.
