Explore the Beaumont Botanical Gardens like you've never seen them before! In this workshop I'll teach you everything you need to know from recommended camera equipment and settings, to finding good subjects, composing, lighting, and much more.
I'll let you know which of your gear to bring, but I will also have some of my own extra “tools of the trade” on hand, that most top macrophotographers rely on for staging, lighting, and composing in the field. This will give you a chance to see how its done, and then get some hands-on experience capturing subjects with your own camera.
We’ll seek out a variety of invertebrates with a goal of capturing at least a dozen different subjects. Many wildflowers will be peaking at that time of year providing some beautiful background colors and textures to complement the critters. You will also be welcome to focus on flowers and plants without insects too.
After registering, you will receive a welcome email with further details including equipment recommendations. I also have a conference special 15% discount on the AK-Diffuser which I use, and the email will include a link ( https://akdiffuser.com/?wpam_id=18 ) & Coupon Code (GSCCC15). This is the only diffuser that I use to create perfect light for my subjects, and I highly recommend it above all other diffusers. if you do not receive the email or if you have any questions, please email me at jose@jmadimages.com .
